  1. What are those things? Do you hold your fav accountable for their missteps? Example: KatyCats holding Katy to a standard when she wanted to thieve a house Westcott sued Perry’s business manager, claiming through his attorneys that the real estate contract should be voided because “the combination of age, frailty from his back condition and recent surgery, and the opiates he was taking several times a day rendered [Westcott] of unsound mind.” Other examples?
  2. I was checking her discography but this album took me by surprise. Bops after bops, zero fillers! Gangsta Lovin', Party In The Rain, Let This Go, Figure You Out, As I Grow Beautful album, summer vibes, empowering, Eve shares some of her life experiences from that time of her life as lessons. Great flow, catchy hooks. Simply an amazing album. She kinda cut era short when she made "Satisfaction" her second single and flopped. If it were to me, I would pick "Figure You Out" or "Let This Go" as second choices! ATRL what are your thoughts? Have you checked out Eve or are you sleeping on her?
  3. Justin Timberlake’s New Song “Selfish” Is the Latest Turd in a Ten-Year Run of Shitty Music Justin Timberlake has always kind of sucked, at least on a personal level, and his new song, “Selfish,” is just the latest turd to be floated across the surface of his long-stagnant career. It’s not just sanitized, Bieberized, blue-eyed R&B; it’s treacly schlock. The lyrics are cliche heaped upon cliche, and he doesn’t bring even a whiff of sex, though you may still pick up the odor of bullshit. “Your lips were made for mine,” he sings, and while his heart may be “beatin’ for you all the time,” my stomach was “throwing up into my mouth.” And lest you think that he’s kept up with modern technology, the line, “Every time the phone rings, I hope that it’s you” feels like a time capsule from the days before the vibrate setting and Caller ID — the last era when Timberlake was relevant. “Selfish” isn’t even bad enough to be interesting, and it’s certainly not ambitious; it’s like he was aiming squarely for mediocre and still came up short. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/justin-timberlake-song-selfish-latest-234805941.html Mrs. boOom boom BabY imma PicK u up in my MerCeDeS won
  4. Using her an an example, she released her debut album the latter half of last year to a large amount of critical acclaim, you could argue she's bringing a quirk that pop music has missed the last couple of years. Her music is (arguably) a bit T.S. coded, she's working with Dan ***** who's the producer behind Olivia's records. She's pretty, great live (and selling out shows too) and is signed to a major label. What's stopping her, and a lot of these other smaller name artists who are releasing really great pop music, from breaking through into the major markets? Is the GP complacent with the household names they have or are artists like this missing something that would take them up another level in their careers?
  5. Big Bad Wolf

    Pink Friday 2: Top 5?

What is your Top 5 on Pink Friday 2 now after almost 2 months since its release? Mine would be: 1. Barbie Dangerous 2. Red Ruby Da Sleeze 3. Everybody 4. Pink Friday Girls 5. Are You Gone Already Honorable mentions for Needle (verse eats idc), My Life, and Beep Beep that I've been using a lot as well
  6. She's helped write so many amazing songs it always feels like she never gets her flowers for songwriting

Do you trust your fav’s taste?

And be honest! we love our faves, but sometimes they don’t always make the right decisions and fight for the wrong things. SO, my question is: If your fave was locked in a room and was told to make the album that she wanted 100% creative control 100% his/her influences and 0% label interference, do you think it would be a solid body of work? It’s not a question of if they have the talent or the chart success to pull it off but the VISION. That includes it possibly being a different genre and knowing what you know about your fave.
  8. These two ladies are successful singers, dancers and playback queens accused of not having their voices on some of their songs and also are considered celebrities because of their well known drama on her personal lifes. The both met the top and both met the flop and has been retired from music for more than a decade. But who’s the better performer of the two?

  10. An unescapable smash hit that dominated all through 2016. Thoughts on it today? Do you still play it?
  11. Why does J.Lo get flack for "not singing her songs" when many other artists have done the same? With her new musical experience dropping soon, I've been seeing clips resurface, bringing attention to the fact that a lot of her earlier hit songs are accompanied by another vocalist. For example, Britney Spears' song, Break The Ice (amazing song by the way <3), uses all of Keri Hilson's demo vocals for both the verses and chorus. Same with the original version of Standing On The Sun by Beyoncé - surprisingly, Sia's background vocals are kept in the song. From a music producing standpoint this has always been done, regardless of talent. It seems though that people latch onto this to express their dislike for J.Lo.
  12. The best single from the Britney era
  13. KatyPrismSpirit

Why are Britney fans doing this?

Justin Timberlake dropped his highly anticipated brand new single titled Selfish. However, Britney fans felt the urge to suddenly mass buy Britney’s “Selfish”… a 13 year old Britney Spears album track of the same name. All I wonder is why is this needed? Why are yall this unforgivable and obsessive towards JT? over a relationship that ended 22 years ago?

  15. No star fell short of Meg Thee Cobra’s hissing wrath, including fellow Jay Z prodigy-hit-maker turned successful billionairess, Rihanna, for dropping her from SAVAGE. Was this move ill-considered, or justified? Will it benefit ha?

  17. A Million Lights

    Why did JLo's 'A.K.A.' underperformed?

One of the best albums from 2014, the album didn't perform that well when compared to Love?. What could she have done to save the era?
  18. Selfish went #1 in 33 countries. #1 on iTunes worldwide right now. Streams rising to 290k daily. Bonus: Britney occupies the entire Top 5 of the music videos chart: Are you surprised this 13 years old bonus track from the deluxe version of Femme Fatale is receiving so much support ?
  19. Jessica Simpson is a legend. Period. I don't think anyone on this site can deny that. But after A Public Affair, her short-lived country career was a bust and she hasn't released an album since her 2010 Christmas album. If Jessica were to announce a huge comeback, what would it take for her to reinstate herself as a pop superstar and become the hitmaker she once was?
