  1. Which of these songs is the superior one?
  2. Let's play Nostradamus! Now that GUTS it's out of the oven, numbers are out as well we have a better idea of where Olivia's career is at the moment Is realistic to say that Olivia is the biggest breakthrough of this decade so far With very personal songwriting style, impressive critical acclaim and a solid fanbase that seems to keep growing. Will Olivia be dominating the music industry in 5, 10 - 15 years from now?

  5. Looking back 10 years ago, just before ARTPOP, I would 100% believe that Gaga's career path would be similar to what Taylor's is right now. Gaga felt so big, it was not delusional to think she would be dominating the whole top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, breaking MADONNA'S record for the biggest female tour ever and dominating every aspect of the entertainment industry in years to come. In all fairness, I think the injury changed the path of her career and made her focus on less physically demanding things like her movies and entrepreneurship. Don't get me wrong, her career still impressive asf, but back then, i truly believed she would eventually become the music industry.
  6. Realistically? imo it was Britney, solely because of the fact that she was NOT EVEN TRYING to appeal to us It came organically and authentically, basically an extension of who she is.
  7. After the success of her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, Cardi B has dropped several singles in anticipation of her sophomore album. Besides Bongos, these singles have no chance of making the cut of CB2 given the amount of time that has passed since their release. Which one is your favorite?

Better 5th album by a Disney act?

Whats the better fifth album by a female Disney act?
  10. I said at the moment because I honestly think sex will always sell, it just goes through ups and downs each decade. With Tay, Doja, and Olivia dominating while having relatively sexless themed eras... Can we agree that hypersexuality in pop culture is less relevant at the moment?
  11. I saw a barb saying nicki should release a ballads compilation like Madonna 'Something To Remember' for her new single. What do you think? could the GP respect nicki's artistry?

Only Girl vs Ring The Alarm

yes this is random but both singles were released on September 9 Only Girl, 13 years ago https://x.com/popcrave/status/1700594028251599136?s=46&t=mor8tSkkfxz2-9jwqrzZtg Ring The Alarm, 17 years ago https://x.com/popbase/status/1700540834847072675?s=46&t=mor8tSkkfxz2-9jwqrzZtg both have aged very well but which one is your favorite
  13. 5 established rap girls. Each in very different positions in their career. Who’s next release has the most riding on it & who has the most to prove? NICKI MINAJ Arguably the most established. People are eager to see if she can deliver a cohesive album, ideally, one that nabs a Grammy. Nicki’s albums have often had to walk the line of catering to both her pop & rap audiences. Will she strike a balance or shake the singing once and for all? Will this be her final project for a long while & will her pen live up to the pressure? ICE SPICE Will the music live up to the hype and momentum behind her, when her first album drops? Or will she be relegated to meme status, the Fetty Wap of her era? CARDI B Will no doubt face comparisons to the massive performance of her first album & she’s faced with the looming “sophomore slump”. Will it be met with the same universal success, or has her extended break depleted her power? MEGAN THEE STALLION Has announced a break from music amidst her label issues. What will her music deliver once she is free, with the backing of Mr Z & Bey? With a laundry list of topics, both personal and professional people are interested to hear her address, will she ultimately come through and is this a make or break moment for Meg? DOJA CAT She’s bald. She’s over pop. She’s demonic. She’s woke. Will it click with the geepee?

Did ARTPOP age better than PRISM?

Back in 2013, the Gaga hate train was running full steam and everyone was #TeamKaty. Now that we’ve all grown up and let both albums marinate our systems, did ARTPOP stand the test of time or are you still #TeamKaty?

Will Taylor end up in Vegas too?

Taylor is one of the biggest, if not the biggest pop stars ever Will she decide to join the Vegas club one day? When she gets tired of touring stadiums worldwide?
  16. This comment by beautiful fighter @La Reina got me thinking: "Fun fact: In addition to Tony Bennett, Xtina also worked with RedOne and Mark Ronson way before Lady GaGa did. " Seriously, thinking about it, Gaga and Xtina's careers are very similar - Both have basically the same movie with different titles, both movies are acclaimed - Multiple grammys and recognition from the industry - Both are known for their iconic vocals - Both were extremely compared in the past - Both have 2SLGBTQIA+ anthems - Xtina worked with Tony, Mark Ronson and RedOne before Gaga apparently Should Xtina be in a similar position to Gaga right now? Specially after Burlesque?

Is Born this Way (the song) mediocre?

No shade. It has a very controversial meaning behind it's title and lyrics. However sound-wise it sounds like a basic generic music for an Illumination animated movie or a child-friendly High School cheerleading theme soundtrack. And I don't mean generic as in Katy's Firework or Rihanna's Only Girl in the World. Rihanna and Katy had generic songs but they were often more polished and deep, sound-wise of course. From their catalog I think Katy's Roar is on par with this Born this Way. There are some non-"GP friendly" Gaga songs that I like; Bad Romance and Bloody Mary and some which I don't prefer like Judas. Born This Way sound wise (not the meaning) fits more in a GP friendly zone but it's not as good as Just Dance which is also a GP-friendly song. I find it odd, since the song is very special, Gaga did not polish it more. What do you think?
