  1. The year is 2020. We're at the turn of the decade. Which major female pop releases from this fateful year are... 1) the most, vs, 2) the least forgotten in 2023? Let's discuss!
  2. Do you believe things such as Kesha's support from Gaga as well as her rebrand in 2017, and Taylor dropping 1989 on Spotify impacted the fact Katy Perry is no longer any kind of name in pop? Or, was it all just witness?
  3. Which one of these new MPGs has already the most classics?
  4. Both 2020 pop albums with similar Billboard 200 chart runs. Some stats to consider; Daily streams Rare - 1,167,288 (2,721,905,110 total) Chromatica - 532,997 (2,445,437,873 total) Most streamed songs: Lose You to Love Me (Rare) - 1,114,144,225 (+462k) Rain On Me (Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande) (Chromatica) - 990,116,371 (+229k) Longest charting song on Billboard: LYTLM (23 WOC; 10 in the top 10) > Rain on Me (Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande) (20 WOC; 4 in the top 10) > Stupid Love (10 WOC) > Rare (7 WOC) > Look At Her Now (4 WOC) > Sour Candy (Lady Gaga and Blackpink) (2 WOC) > Boyfriend (1 WOC) = Feel Me (1 WOC) = Alice (1 WOC) > 911 (0 WOC)
  5. Chromatica has significantly higher pure sales than Plastic Hearts, while Plastic Hearts has more streams in Spotify. The overall estimates for Chromatica are at 650K WW, Plastic Heart doesn't have any estimates revealed but it is probably much lower. Chromatica - 2,444,299,771 Plastic Hearts - 3,035,693,700 So it is a tough call. I believe PL will end up being the bigger one even if it is not now given that it has much better recurrent streams.

Best "Gay Anthem" of the 2020s So Far?

A gay anthem is a popular song that has become widely popular among, or has become identified with, the gay community, although some of these songs have also become anthems for the wider LGBT community. The biggest examples being I'm Coming Out and I Will Survive. According to Wikipedia, there are 23 gay anthems of the 2020s so far. What song is your favorite gay anthem from this list? Are there any songs missing? Any surprise entries?
  7. Adele vs Kelly Clarkson Ariana Grande vs Mariah Carey Rihanna vs Britney Spears act i thread below:
  8. Truly one of the most baffling cases of missed opportunities of a worldwide superstar to ever exist is Nicole Scherzinger. The full package. The x factor. Major success and easily the breakout from her girlgroup. Actually really talented. A cute debut album that was mismanaged and poorly released and promoted. Nothing much musically has come to fruition for her and at this point it's pretty obvious that it's because of her for a long list of reasons. So in an alternate universe where she is the main pop girl that she deserves to be and probably she herself wants nothing more who would've been a fire ass collaborator for her to work with to serve us a banger?
  9. It is too early in any of these performers' careers to be considered a legend, or even an icon. However, looking ahead, which one do you think has the best shot at it?

    If Kardashians were MPGs…

Who’s taking it? What do you think the music/era would give?
  12. IBeMe

    Fav Taylor Swift #1 single?

Which one? Mine is "Slvt!" which comes out next week and will go #1
  13. We all love you gurls but sometime they just...flop. But the question is all these three albums, what is your pick for a hardest flop album?
  14. Both were big combacks to pop music after more experimental eras.
  15. SuperCiC1

    Remember this early 2010s BOP?

Was Kat Graham serving MPG with this and her debut?
  16. There are now two big releases slated for a November 17 release (Nicki and Enhypen). Considering they‘ll be competing against Taylor‘s fourth week, who do you think will snatch #1 that week? Enhypen has yet to yield a #1 debut on the Billboard 200, however, they‘ve been reaching new highs with every recent release.
  17. So I have never staned anyone, I just like pop culture in general and I usually just comment what I like or what I don't. But everyone on atrl thinks that when you say something positive or negative about someone is because you're a stan or a hater. Are there more people like me that are just here for the news and the mess ?

    Best single from 1989?

In honor of Taylor’s biggest album, and before she rereleases it, choose the best single from the album:
  19. KOMH
