THE AZEALIA LOVE. Where were you at her Discography Rate, huuuh?

I was gonna submit but I always forgot about it and I was also kind of lazy to rate the rare ones :eli: the top 2 song would still be 1991 and Liqourice anyway and Along the Coast would move up if I had submitted

4. KING - The Greatest

Spoiler

I discovered this song on Spotify back in February and then I googled about them and turns out it was from the Grammy nominated album "We Are KING" which was nominated along with Anti and Lemonade on this year's Grammy, it's so good the whole album is really good if you like some R&B jams, you should definitely listen to their album.

3. Kehlani - CRZY

I discovered this song when I listened to the album, "SweetSexySavage" and instantly thought that this is the best song on the album, turns out it was already released last year :deadbanana2: so I truly missed out, it could've made by Best of 2016 list

2. Kelela - Bank Head

Spoiler

It's a House-y, chill song, I just love it, not sure why but it's very special to me

1. DEAN - Put My Hands On You (ft. Anderson .Paak)

Spoiler

This song is magical, I'd say this song is how having a crush feels like and I found this song around the time I was very close to my crush for the first time, like.. we were so close everyday. I discovered this song after his collab with Syd called "love." but for me this is the superior song

10. Tinashe

Spoiler

She started the year with Company video, which was one of the best videos of the year (see her in my Best Videos list) and released some cute pop collaborations, "Text From Your Ex" with Tinie Tempah and "Quit You" with Lost Kings then the pop single "Flame", the messy ass song that nobody uses and she herself doesn't claim it "Light The Night Up", and her latest collab with blackbear "Up In This". I wish she had a successful year like SZA but maybe next year would be her year.

9. Dua Lipa

Spoiler

She's had a great 2017, from Thinking Bout You to the breakout single New Rules and the pop gems self-titled debut album. I started to get into her music thanks to her collab with Miguel, "Lost In Your Light". May her 2018 would be even bigger for her.

8. The Weeknd

Spoiler

He didn't release any new music but he released some cute collaborations that I don't use at all, none of them  and Starboy album is still hot for me especially Rockin' I still bop to it every other day, and he released some great visuals this year, from Party Monster, Reminder, to I Feel It Coming while I'm still waiting for Rockin' and Die For You Video (which probably won't be released). Rooting for him to do some House of Balloons sound for his next album :alexz:

7. Azealia Banks

Spoiler

She released some bops this year, starting with Crown then the hip-hop bop Chi-Chi, the chill house bop Escapades to the latest one she just released the other day, Icy Colors Change. While I also discovered some more of her old songs like Venus and Barely Legal (Cover). I wish she actually released Fantasea 2 this year :'( it would definitely made top 10 on my album list.

20. SZA - Drew Barrymore

Spoiler

The video is very cool, I like the colors and all and there's Drew Barrymore herself in the video which makes it even more special

19. Logic - Take It Back

Spoiler

The video for the best song on his album, this speaks about police brutality, and stuff like that. It's a short video but I love it, there's a message behind it.

6. Tove Lo

Spoiler

With Lady Wood release last year, 50 Shades soundtrack and blue lips this year, she gave me what I wanted. Especially the fact that blue lips was released on my birthday :jonny5: She really made my birthday, I had shedontknowbutsheknows on rihpeat. She served great music but her promotion and single choices this era has been messy, with Disco T*** as the lead I mean it's a great song but the title made radio refuse to play it.

5. Lorde

Spoiler

The songstress really made one of the best albums this year, and I listened to Pure Heroine even more this year and finally understood the album sound and now I actually like the whole thing, because when I first listened to it in 2015, I only liked a couple songs. Melodrama deserved its acclaim and it deserves more success especially with the singles. Homemade Dynamite remix just came and went, like.. :biblio: it had some of the current IT stars like SZA, Khalid and Post Malone and their verses are good, but.. why it bombed? no pun intended :eli:

18. Taylor Swift - ...Ready For It?

Spoiler

I really love the dark vibes that both the song and video have, the video could've been better but it has really nice editing and color, it just lack in storyline. Like.. what is it supposed to be? The new Taylor killing the old Taylor? or the evil kermit meme Image result for kermit and evil kermit Overall, it still a good video though, I like it.

17. SZA - The Weekend

Spoiler

Everyone including me were expecting some story line following the song's lyrics and all but then again Solange directed the video but it shows some kind of aesthetic that I like, same with Kiss It Better video. Though, it could still be better but overall I love the video anyway.

4. Taylor Swift

Spoiler

She started the year with the #2 soundtrack with Zayn Malik, I Don't Wanna Live Forever then went hiding and came back in August with the bop Look What You Made Me Do which broke the internet including Adele's VEVO Record for the most viewed video in the first 24 hours and is one of ATRL's favorites (peep the ATRL top 50 thread:fan:) and it became the first #1 song by female artist this year. The album came and it's been on rihpeat since the rihlease I haven't gotten tired of it. I honestly prefer this new Taylor because I really love the dark vibes in reputation. I'm rooting for her to do some Fairy Dust film kind of thing for reputation next year.

3. Rihanna

Kiss It Better

Spoiler

My #1 fave!!!!!! My queen!! Even with no album out Anti is still soooooo fresh and also with these collaborations she has been releasing throughout the year, from Selfish to the latest one, Lemon. Also everything she has been doing this year, from getting awarded for literally everything and FentyBeauty release and many other stuff. I'm still pissed that she's snubbed at the GRAMMYs, Kiss It Better should've won :fish2: (also so that I can change my signature to "Grammy winning song" :eli: )  I still wish she released Love on the Brain video and a video for Consideration and Desperado would be nice as well. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us in 2018, she's going to turn 30 :chick3: and it will be 13 years since her debut, it's going to be interesting.
