lhdang2000 Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 I agree that reputation was a let down after 1989. The Chainsmokers above Taylor and Demi tho.
Lazuli Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 TMYLM I would be more than satisfied that reputation made the list, but seeing that The Lung Cancers are above it... Delete this list ASAP!
theblackestday Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 TMYLM Demi truly did that. As for the rest.... choices.

Mark Rih Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 (edited) TOP 20 ALBUMS #15 - #11 #15 Allie X – CollXtion II Love me some good synthpop. I listened to this album for the first time because of an ATRL rate and then I started using it regularly. Good thing that I discovered her only in June so it hit me all at once (and I didn't experience another So Good/Dua Lipa situation); I think I prefer it to CollXtion I (which I listened to for the first time after this) because it’s a bit more chill and I like that, both are good tho. Standouts: Vintage, Paper Love, Lifted. #14 Lil Uzi Vert – Luv Is Rage II Lil Uzi Vert is probably my fave among the new generation of rappers. His flow is perfect for the cool and catchy productions of this album, you can tell that he worked with some of the best producers from the current urban scene; even if there are a few fillers, nothing is unlistenable and the album flows well. I’m a bit disappointed from the Abel collab tho, it’s way too ripetitive. Standouts: XO Tour Llif3, Two, The Way Life Goes. #13 Sabrina Claudio – About Time Kinda shocked at the quality of this debut album. ‘About Time’ offers slow and intimate R&B jams and some more uptempo tracks (like Used To, an amazing combo of R&B and dance, and Wait), but always keeping a beautiful, chill and atmospheric mood; I highly recommend you to check her out if you haven’t already. Standouts: Belong To You, Used To, Unravel Me, Wait. #12 Zara Larsson – So Good If you followed my previous countdowns you know that I’m #ZardinesTeam; Zara is my favourite new pop girl, I just love her voice and her presence. I’m not gonna lie, I’m not completely happy about this LP: So Good left me disappointed because most of the highlights were already released before the album, because she scrapped some songs that I love (Push Pull, Permission, Wanna) and because it feels a bit more uncohesive then her swedish debut 1, BUT it’s still a nice pop album which I played it a lot during this year; If it came out like in mid 2016 after only two singles it would’ve been better received for sure. For her next album I hope she goes a bit back to her Swedish/European roots, she doesn’t need to go the urban route because that is what’s cool in the US right now. Btw can’t believe this album includes my 2015 #1 single lol (which is still her best song). Standouts: Lush Life, TG4M, One Mississippi, Never Forget You, Symphony. #11 Lana Del Rey – Lust For Life Lust For Life is Lana’s third best album so far and it’s definitely an improvement post Honeymoon but it’s still far from Born To Die and Ultraviolence highs; it showed use a brighter and happier side of Lana tho, so that’s appreciable. Getting new music from her is always a pleasure, keep doing your thing Elizabeth. Standouts: Lust For Life, 13 Beaches, Cherry, Get Free. Edited December 13, 2017 by Mark Rih
theblackestday Posted December 13, 2017 Posted December 13, 2017 Lust for Life Quote Lust For Life is Lana’s third best album so far You almost had me Quote and it’s definitely an improvement post Honeymoon but it’s still far from Born To Die But you lost me right there
