Navyofbadgals Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 That #17 looks... awkward Astrids EP was great, I was gonna mention it on my HMs too, but decided not to, because it was an ep and I already had so many

Nothing on this album really stands out (aka: no hits. this is also what prevented it from being bigger) but overall it's a nice listen. If she comes with some stronger material, I can see big things for her! Standouts (even if they're not that evident lolz): Distraction, Piece Of Mind, CRZY. #19 Demi Lovato - Tell Me You Love Me 2017 was a great year for Demi. She had a successful comeback when nobody expected it, she scored multiple hits and her era is going well. TMYLM is her best album so far and it's definitely an improvement from Confident (which had like 3 good songs imo). Still not an amazing album but it's a step in the right direction for sure. Standouts: Only Forever, Ruin The Friendship, Cry Baby. #18 Taylor Swift - Reputation Well Taylor made the album list at least! I don't like the concept behind the album/don't like her persona generally but Swift already proved in the past that she can make some good pop music. Reputation is a let down after 1989 but it still gave us some nice jams, Max Martin especially did a good work here... Antobland on the other hand did terrible as expected; also the tracklist could've been better for sure (for example, LYWMMD between Delicate and SIG is such a wrong choice). I don't see the album aging well as a whole (I'm already lowkey over most of it tbh) but I still wanted to put it my list since I played it non-stop for like 2 weeks lol. Standouts: Dancing With Our Hands Tied, Delicate, End Game (probably the first song with Ed that I like). #17 The Chainsmokers - Memories...Do Not Open Drag me if you want idc; I've always liked them so this album being here is not a surprise. Drew voice isn't a good voice obviously, but his studio vocals actually sound nice on most of this album. If you like generic EDM you can't dislike TCS tbh. *for the haters* a reminder that they have been slaying non stop for 3 years, with successful hits and successful album. xoxo Standouts: The One, Paris, Young, Last Day Alive. #16 Astrid S - Party's Over Party's Over is only an EP but hey this is some pop music done in the right way, the main girls are shook. Swedish girls rarely disappoint, and Astrid proved this once again; can't wait for her debut album, hopefully it's coming this next year. Standouts: Such A Boy, Bloodstream, Breathe. Hi
ATRL Moderator Unoriginal Posted December 12, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 12, 2017 TMYLM and reputation rep deserved higher tho
prézli Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Chainmokers? Taylor Swift? What happened to your taste, sis? You drag Taylor in the description so hard, but she still made it.

Tom Vercetti Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Wanted to like Kehlani more than I did but I wasn't feeling it this year. I prefer her mixtape. Quote End Game (probably the first song with Ed that I like) As much as I don't like him, he was probably the best sounding one from the three tbh. Haven't heard much from Demi but Only Forever is one of her better songs.

GokuRed Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 4/5 Astrid better blow up Chainsmokers are underrated but overplayed if that makes sense Reputation succeeded my expectations

Mezik Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 YASSSSSSSSSSS KEHLANI!!!!!! I am not sure if it's because I find it sounds forced, but I don't like Demi's 'Tell Me You Love Me' - it sounds so unauthentic. 'Sorry Not Sorry' is a bop though. 'reputation' is Taylor's worst album so I am happy to see it not top ten. Chainsmokers are a guilty pleasure, there album hast catchy bops. Good first update.

Vxspertine Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 Demi deserves the praise Perched to see your top 10 sis
Remmy Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 TMLYM A great album, though it didn't really slay me as hard as it did for everyone else. Taylor snapped on reputation Started out as her weakest release for me, now it's her 3rd best. The Chainsmokers are great but their EPs are sooo much better than Memories. Lowkey disappointed. Ruin the Friendship, DancingWOHT, Delicate, Young and Last Day Alive being among your standouts
Fenrir Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 I forgot Kehlani put out an album this year. I loved Gangsta so I'll have to check it out. Tell Me You Love Me is the first Demi album I've really enjoyed (at least more than 2 songs n).
Jet Posted December 12, 2017 Posted December 12, 2017 TMLYLM and Reputation Wish they were a bit higher tho
