lhdang2000 Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Touch is one of LM's best songs. Why is also a great track.

MusicLoverDude Posted December 17, 2017 Author Posted December 17, 2017 I have decided that this will resume Monday after I get home from work. My hours during the week are better to work with than what I have this weekend. I'm planning on being at Top 10 songs by the end of next Friday.

K$Ellie Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Touch missing the top 50, it's a masterpiece Fake Happy, Bodak Yellow and New Year's Day
ATRL Moderator feelslikeadream Posted December 17, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 17, 2017 Only three appearances from Paramore? Told You So and Fake Happy slay though. I hope the third appearance is something good like 26, Pool, Rose-Colored Boy, Forgiveness, or Tell Me How and isn't that overrated Hard Times song
sk8erfan Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Woman, Love So Soft, Roulette, Angel, BT, Hey Hey Hey & Imperfection so far Looking forward to the other entries to come

Inner Insanity Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Fake Happy is my fave song on AL. Not mad about Hard Times being the highest song of theirs here though. Definitely one of the best songs of the year.
TheWayWeWere Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 not Touch missing top 50 it's such a perfect pop bop NYD it's so heartbreaking Fake Happy
MusicLoverDude Posted December 19, 2017 Author Posted December 19, 2017 MLD's Top 100 Songs: 50 - 41 50. Logic f. Alessia Cara & Khalid - 1-800-273-8255 This song by far had the biggest VMA effect, as I didn't really get much exposure to this song until they performed it there. I think people on here give this song too much crap for that "Who can relate" line. It may sound a little cheesy, but it doesn't take away from the fact that this is a powerful song that shares an important message for suicide awareness. Both Alessia and Khalid provide very touching parts to this song and sing it with the sensitivity needed for this song to resonate with others. I hope this song makes a lasting impact on those listening to it. Only appearances by Logic and Khalid, first of two appearances by Alessia Cara 49. Steve Aoki f. Louis Tomlinson - Just Hold On It shouldn't really be a surprise that Louis is the one member of 1D that no one really cares about outside of the UK. So it doesn't surprise me that he hopped onto an EDM track in order to get more traction with his solo career. The end result? Well, it's an ok track. There were times during the spring where I was really into it, but then it got old quickly and it was hard to really get back into it once that happened. Under the right circumstances though, this is a good party track. First of two appearances by Steve Aoki. Only appearance by Louis Tomlinson 48. Jake Miller - Can't Help Myself Jake Miller makes his second appearance with the latest song off his album to get somewhat of a single treatment. This is one of his better urban pop songs because his voice flows well with the track's beat and it results in a sexy track that is easy to listen to and a good song to add to any playlist cocktail that I can mix up. As I have mentioned before, the fact that I can enjoy his music genuinely while still being incredibly attracted to him is a great combination. Second of three appearances by Jake Miller 47. Gabbie Hanna - Out Loud Someone on ATRL posted a link to this song and I decided to go ahead and check it out. And I was pleasantly surprised. Gabbie has an interesting voice - it's deep and raspy but still sounds very youthful and the song itself is pretty relatable. It's not extraordinary but it is a nice song. Right now though it's the only song of hers I have any interest in. Only appearance by Gabbie Hanna 46. Liam Payne - Bedroom Floor I think honestly, Liam Payne has won me over the most when it comes to music. Strip That Down will be talked about later, and that was a bop itself, but Bedroom Floor is an electropop bop as well, even though the chorus could have been a lot better. The catchiness of this song though makes up for it and he's the only member of 1D that I actually might be excited to hear new music from. First of two appearances by Liam Payne 45. Kim Petras - Hillside Boys This song sounds like a Teenage Dream reject if you ask me. But that not's necessarily the worst thing since that is one of my favorite albums of the decade. Kim serves this kind of pop really well. The chorus slays to an extent. It does have a faster burn out rate though than other songs on here, but it's currently Kim's best song so far. Final appearance by Kim Petras 44. Clean Bandit f. Zara Larsson - Symphony I'm surprised this didn't take off in the US. It's kind of sad that the only hit from Clean Bandit this era was Rockabye. That's the one song I didn't really care for from them. As for Zara, this is actually her best song since Never Forget You. She's been so boring with her debut era that this was the only exciting song that came around for her. Her voice really lights the chorus up well and I can feel the magic within. This song simply deserved better. Final appearance by Clean Bandit. Only appearance by Zara Larsson 43. Miley Cyrus - Malibu To my surprise, this is where Miley's Malibu places on my list. Just a few spots shy of the top 40. This song to an extent hasn't aged well and the song isn't a year old yet. It took me a few listens to get into this and it's specially good for summer, which is predictable. But at the same time, as much as I originally thought that this was a natural change for Miley to go through, her attitude towards her past eras has really turned me off a bit which is saying a lot because I've been a loyal fan of hers for 11 years. I honestly think that by the end of this decade Carly, Avril, Katy or Taylor is going to overtake Miley for the most played artist on my Last FM, as they are realistically the closest ones to doing so, other than Rihanna, who I don't really listen to that much anymore either. I've grown up with Miley and I just wish she wouldn't be so ashamed of her past eras. Your loyal fans stayed by your side throughout Can't Be Tamed and Bangerz, even Dead Petz and this is just a slap in the face. I hope that Miley learns to find peace with her past eras so that she can move forward musically. At this point, I think I'm no longer a stan and simply a longterm fan. When Miley does release new music I will check it out, but I have moved on from being a stan of hers. Still a Smiler always though. I will never not be a part of that fanbase. Final appearance by Miley Cyrus 42. Sabrina Carpenter - Tomorrow Starts Today Having theme songs on this countdown isn't strange. Everywhere You Look for Fuller House charted in the Top 10 last year because Carly Rae is just THAT good with it. This year, Disney's latest new hit show Andi Mack has a good theme song of its own, sung by Sabrina Carpenter. The acoustic guitar and Sabrina's warm vocals make for a friendly tune that is perfect to draw in viewers for the show and also serves a great message of positivity towards life, which can change at any moment. And that is something that a person at any age can grasp. And also, I recommend that if you haven't checked this show out yet, you should at least watch a few episodes. It's by the same producer of Lizzie McGuire and for a kids show it's very mature and realistic. As I stated in my Top tv shows list, it's a Disney show I can watch without being embarrassed about it. Anyways, the theme song was icing on the cake! Final appearance by Sabrina Carpenter 41. Demi Lovato - Tell Me You Love Me I was pleasantly surprised with how Demi FINALLY managed to outpeak This Is Me this year. 9 years coming. And then on top of that, she served us a song that was PERFECT for her vocals. The chorus is absolutely amazing because of her vocals and the verses are memorable too. Her vocal delivery is what makes this song. That video is also one of her best. And I'll get more into that in my Top music videos list. And Demi is just getting started on this countdown. First of three appearances by Demi Lovato
Remmy Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Tell Me You Love Me Malibu + Out Loud Symphony Ayy so I'm not the only one with Gabbie on my best songs list Out Loud is the first YouTuber song I've taken seriously.
