Damn at Kelly already being out :noparty: Did you like any of the MOL tracks?

Roulette, deserved better but a slay regardless :clap3:

Gorgeous is in fact underrated, stan!

Oh, Roulette is on your countdown, too. :heart2: Guys My Age was on my list I kept for my year end, I had over 90 songs, but I cut it down to 75 and Guys My Age was one of the songs to get the ax. Try playing it on Youtube with the speed up 25%, though, it's much better!

MLD's Top 100 Songs

80 - 71

80. Hailee Steinfeld & Alesso f. Florida Georgia Line & watt - Let Me Go

Hailee's final entry. I didn't really care for this at first, but it has grown on me a little. She still comes off as desperate for hit considering both her and Bebe both collaborated with Florida Georgia Line AND discounted those songs for 0.69 cents. She's probably expecting this to be a Starving sized hit, but I don't really see it. But I need to spend the money before iTunes closes so I bought this since it grew on me. Good luck Hailee.

Final appearance of Hailee Steinfeld. Only appearance by all the others.

79. Paramore - Told You So

After listening to the majority of After Laughter, it appears they released the better half of the album as singles, Told You So being one of them. And between the three singles, Told You So is the weakest link. The bridge is the best part but this song doesn't really go anywhere and it's a cute listen when I feel like it, but it doesn't really connect like Fake Happy and Hard Times does, and that's why it's the first Paramore song to leave.

First of three appearances by Paramore

78. Ariana Grande f. Future - Everyday

Ariana had so many other choices on the album that could have worked as a fourth single and she went with this over Greedy and Touch It. Pretty disappointing. This grew on me a lot though so I did bop to this for awhile, but it got old quickly once it retired from my countdown. Looking forward to her next album though. Dangerous Woman was her best album by far.

Only appearance by Ariana Grande. First of two appearances by Future

77. Clean Bandit f. Julia Michaels - I Miss You

I was pretty curious about this song after seeing this on the iTunes UK game that @thecptz hosts. After a couple of listens, it has gotten really good. I just think the chorus is kind of underwhelming. Julia slays this song though.

Final appearance by Julia Michaels. First of two appearances by Clean Bandit

76. Macklemore f. Kesha - Good Ole Days

Back in the day I definitely enjoyed listening to Macklemore. I kind of ignored him last year. But with him doing stuff apart from Ryan Lewis, it's definitely interesting to see what he still has to offer without him. He still has his spark without Ryan, especially in the second verse. And Kesha's chorus really works here. Hopefully this goes Top 40 because Kesha deserves another hit this era.

Second of four appearances by Kesha. Only appearance by Macklemore

75. P!nk - Beautiful Trauma

P!nk returned this year with her usual badass self. People say she has a formula to success, but that's because she has stayed true to who she is since the very beginning of her career. This song is her typical self and the video really makes it more fun to listen to. Whether it flops or not, which considering she is 38, she's not going to have a flawless era anymore I don't think, doesn't really matter. She's selling albums and tours and kicking ass and is a woke queen who is raising her kids to be confident and respectful people. You can't not respect her at least.

First of two appearances by P!nk

74. Little Mix - Power

Unlike Fifth Harmony, Little Mix continues to evolve the longer they stay together. Their unity as a group is why they are still slaying everywhere but the US. This song in particular I was hot and cold with. When I did listen to it, I was slayed. But I have a really good memory so the parts I would remember would stick with me, and then I didn't feel like playing it :skull: . The video could've done without Stormzy though. I didn't care about his part. But whatever. Anyways, the solo version is good for a party or female empowerment.

First of two appearances by Little Mix

73. Katy Perry - Hey Hey Hey

Apparently Katy is releasing this as a single. When I first listened to this, I thought this song was kind of a mess. The chorus is kind of just too much stop and start - like she was trying to masturbate while she sang this. And you can't masturbate to this anyway so the stopping and starting of the beat just is weird. But the verses are coolish. And the song grew on me a bit, but the four singles ahead of it are way better.

Second of six appearances by Katy Perry

72. Icona Pop - Girls Girls

I remember I really enjoyed Icona Pop's music and album back in 2013, and I liked Emergency to an extent too. I was instantly hooked to this when I discovered it a few months ago. I just haven't listened to it a whole lot or else it would be higher on the list. Anyways, this song is great to party to and Icona Pop still serves those party bops even if they are a one hit wonder in the US.

Only appearance by Icona Pop

71. Miley Cyrus - Younger Now

I don't think I ever expected a Miley song to be this low on my countdown, since I've been a stan of hers since I was 12. Although this year I feel like it's harder to stan for her because she keeps hating all her previous eras and it's kind of a slap in the face to those who have supported her during the years. I always thought that she was just growing up because I mean, she is only 14 months older than me. But I don't know, I feel like she's just insecure with her past music. Which sucks. I liked this song but after it retired from my countdown I stopped listening to it. It drags on after awhile even though it feels euphoric when you're in the right mood.

First of two appearances by Miley Cyrus

Okay Younger Now the song is.... bad.

Everyday is so good, but I can understand why it flopped, and many people don’t like it.

Icona Pop  Girls Girls was cute, but at this point I don't know if they can put out an AMAZING bop anymore.
Hailee, Ariana and Miley :heart2: P!nk :worship:

Yas at the BT praise :clap3: The song and album are so great, I'm tired of tha slander!

Power :heart2: little mix killed it this year

My city plays 'Let Me Go' all the time, and when I finally paired it with an artist I was slayed. Hailee serves quality bops and this is so much more infectious than 'Starving'. :jamming:

'Everyday' is the best single this era, it's tragic that it flopped. :'(

I love Told You So and Beautiful Trauma is cute, Everyday is a bop

Told You So, Beautiful Trauma, Everyday, I Miss You, Good Old Days :clap3:

Beautiful Trauma is such a bop. I think it would have worked better as a lead single but I'm glad it got its time (to flop :dies: )

Told You So is a cute song too.

MLD's Top TV shows

7. Raven's Home (Disney Channel)

See the source image

Being a fan of That's So Raven back in the day, and it remaining one of my all time favorite shows on Disney Channel, I had to check this out. Raven and Chelsea are just as hilarious as they were on the original show, and the new generation of kids are actually pretty nice so far. They also made some rather adult jokes on the show that I would be able to get but not the kids that watch this most likely, and that's cool with me. Anyways, looking forward to Season 2.

6. Santa Clarita Diet (Netflix)

See the source image

I felt very obliged to check this out. Santa Clarita is my hometown, and they actually filmed this show in my neighborhood a few houses down from me. My house can actually be seen in the background of Episode 7 :toofunny3:. They filmed the first season right before I really started working at Six Flags (which that in itself will be mentioned in another countdown I will have believe it or not :toofunny3: ) so I got to see a lot of the action from my porch/upstairs windows before work picked up for me. Pretty fun times. The show itself is not too bad and it was really cool to see them use so many areas of my city for the show. It can be kind of gross at times but otherwise it's a decent show. I'm looking forward to Season 2's release date.

5. The Loud House (Nickelodeon)

See the source image

I came across this show earlier this year and I was hooked immediately. It's the best cartoon that Nick has picked up since All Grown Up and My Life As a Teenage Robot. It's genuinely funny, all the sisters have unique personalities, they have a gay couple, and they have very hilariously done situations each episode. Still have episodes to discover, but man, it's nice that we finally have a Nick cartoon taking off in the 2010s.

4. 13 Reasons Why (Netflix)

13_Reasons_Why.jpg

The only drama in my list this year. A very thought inducing show with a very diverse cast of characters, and a sad story all behind it. The way Hannah's story was built up so well and how everything that led up to her suicide kept building up until she hit her breaking point - and how everyone that interacted with her, with the exception of a few, just judged her, got her in trouble, and caused her pain, literally just made you feel for her in every way possible. I can understand why this caused so much controversy, but at the same time, this should hopefully be a way to see the signs of someone heading that way. As someone that at times felt suicidal myself this year, it's important to always take care of yourself and get help when you need it. RIP Hannah, and Katherine Langford did an excellent job portraying her.

3. Degrassi: Next Class (Netflix)

See the source image

After catching up with the first two seasons, I was ready for Seasons 3 and 4 this year. And I was pretty much slayed by them. Maya, Lola, Esme, Saad and Yael all got very impressive storylines and sad ones too. Maya's suicide attempt, Lola's abortion, Saad being a Syrian refugee trying to find common ground in America, and Yael coming out as genderqueer all were well done. And the graduation in Season 4 was so beautifully done. The hiatus is a pain in the ass but I hope the wait will be worth it.

2. Andi Mack (Disney Channel)

andi-mack.jpg

As a 23 year old, getting into a new show on Disney Channel is definitely kind of shocking for me now. But when you have a show as mature in content and writing as Andi Mack is, it wins you over. This show is realistic, and relatable. And the first show on Disney Channel to feature a main gay character which I am LIVING for :alexz:

1. Fuller House (Netflix)

See the source image

A Full House fan since I was in my preteens, this once again takes the cake for my favorite show of the year. It can be cheesy at times, but DJ, Stephanie and Kimmy remain flawless as ever! And the storylines are just getting for the three of them! Looking forward to the next half of Season 3 on the 22nd.

I've seen clips of Andi Mack online and it seems mature and well-made for a Disney Channel show. You can definitely tell the creator was also the creator of Lizzie McGuire.

I use Beautiful Trauma and a little bit of Good Old Days. Need to hear the Clean Bandit song.

From the shows I've only seen 13 Reasons but I use! I thought it was really well done

Agree about Told You So being the weakest of the 3
