MusicLoverDude Posted December 13, 2017 Author Posted December 13, 2017 (edited) MLD's Game Spotlight This year was @Pedro's last season hosting Choose the Album, Then the Song. This had become one of my favorite tournaments in the games section over the 5 year run that Pedro hosted it. Being a part of it from the very first season, I went on my very own journey - even at one point being a judge for a season and a half and always improving on the season prior. This particular season though, I reached my highest placement in the game of third place - and for the first time actually making the finale. This game is different from the others, and certainly much different from most of ATRL, because it really focuses on your writing for each round. You can't be a robotic bimbo idiot with phrases like "talent always wins, like a fetus" or constantly abusing GIFs in this game or you won't last long. @shelven @Rihlana made it the final with me, and what I will say is that, Rihlana is part of the reason I like Halsey more. And shelven did a great job the entire game with his entires for Sia's This Is Acting. And in my case, getting Samantha Jade to the final 3 was an accomplishment in itself, as Samantha doesn't have much traction here. It was also a pleasure to be part of this final season with @lhdang2000@Kavish@Lazuli @Inner Insanity @sumthintoxic82 and others. I just can't remember exactly who because it's been awhile since the finale ended. But I really enjoyed this game while it lasted and to end my run on such a high note was so pleasing! Pendulum being top 3 worst on Witness? 90-81: 7/10 And CTA, TAS truly is an amazing game, I remember rooting for you so HARD, and you did amazing. I remember being so impressed with how much you had improved compared to when I used to just lurk in past seasons and read the entries.
