Quote LOYALTY. is one of DAMN.'s singles, it features RIhanna, it's catchy as hell but, as most Kendrick's singles, this song is pure QUALITY, Rihanna's addition just adds to the badass-ish vibe this has. #122 Nite Jewel 2 Good 2 Be True Quote 2 Good 2 Be True is funky and an excellent dancey song, Nite Jewel is slowly ditching her lo-fi sound for a more clean and straightforward pop structures that suit her voice really really well. That bass though. #121 Aly & AJ Take Me Quote Aly & AJ's comeback single is an epic 80s inspired pop BOP, recalling artists like Shura, these two takes us through her pinkish pop sugary jam filled with amazing synths and a sweet breakdown that's impossible not to enjoy. #120 Computer Magic Amnesia Quote Computer Magic's Amnesia finishes what Danz started years ago, Amnesia is the amazing work of an artist that not only has found her sound and her brand in sci-fi inspired synth pop but that also has mastered it. #119 MUNA I Know A Place Quote MUNA's epic single I Know A Place has a synthy nostalgic sound that it's, for me in particular, completely irresistible, the chorus is epic, the message makes me soft and the HAIM-like vocals are gorgeous to listen to in this context. #118 Billie Eilish Bellyache Quote Bellyache is one of those indie pop songs that, yeah, might sound like something you heard before from the countless of 'indie girls' that come out but Billie's voice, delivery and attitude make her sound (or ''brand'' as I'd like to call it) something irresistible, Bellyache is a midtempo acoustic/electronic pop song with intoxicating beats and a lowkey but powerful voice that, to be completely honest, got me addicted for several weeks. #117 Sorority Noise No Halo Quote No Halo is a post-punk inspired rock anthem, the sound is kinda inspirational I have no idea why and it makes me think of like.. you know, the final scene of a coming of age movie. I liked this a LOT. #116 Timber Timbre Floating Cathedral Quote Floating Cathedral's slow and sexy guitars blended with those spacey synths and that overall dark post-punk vibe are, UGH, amazing.

I agree that this is her best album shes so much better when you can hear the songwriting and the production/aesthetic doesn't swallow it whole.

Glassmouth Posted December 20, 2017 Author Posted December 20, 2017 #115 Soulwax Missing Wires Quote Starting a song in the crazy way Soulwax starts 'Missing Wires' could only be a good sign of how good this dance bop is, the electronic bass that moves after the intro and the alien synths that go here and there blended with cool pop structure of this song is pure bliss #114 Slowdive Star Roving Quote I'm pretty sure this is Slowdive's lead single and wow, it did impressed me (unlike the album hihihihi), this song feels anthemic and HUGE, the shoegaze-y feeling is still there and it seemed like Slowdive didn't lose their touch when you listen to this one. #113 Nightlands Lost Moon Quote This acoustic song blends psychedelia and dream pop and blend it perfectly, Nightlands sounds as good as he always did in his debut and the spacey way his vocals are produced make this sound like a cool 70s ode to loneliness. #112 Lorde Liability Quote Lorde's most personal song is also one of her most stripped down ones, this song touched me deeply and it means a lot to me now, one of Melodrama's highlights. #111 Tame Impala Taxi's Here Quote A slow psychedelic pop kinda-ballad-ish song, as much of Tame Impala's songs this is, at the very least, enjoyable. #110 Pixx Everything is Weird in America Quote When the track starts you think ''oh, this might be a really serious track'' but oh boy, that chorus is amazing and fun, this is amazing prove of how alternative pop music can still sound unique, Pixx nails it. #109 Washed Out Million Miles Away Quote Million Miles Away moves slowly but effectively, Washed Out's vocals sound as good as they always sound and the vibe is kinda glitchy and light. #108 Phoenix Fior Di Latte Quote Fior Di Latte is my favorite song from Ti Amo, it's sweet and kinda corny, I love this amazing slow pop bop. #107 Declan McKenna Make Me Your Queen Quote Unlike most of McKenna's debut album, Make Me Your Queen is a beautiful acoustic-ish indie rock inspirational ballad, Declan's vocals sound amazing and the whole feeling of this track is kinda hopeful, really pretty song. #106 !!! Dance is the Best Revenge Quote BITCH THAT GUITAR WORK, this is an amazing dance bop. I dare you to not dance while listening to this. #105 The Flaming Lips The Castle Quote The Castle is a beautiful and romantic psychedelic/electronic ballad, the way Wayne talks about this person and how the metaphors describe a castle and this person's mind being a building are just beautiful, I cry a lot. #104 Sufjan Stevens, James McAllister, Nico and blablabla Mercury Quote The piano that starts Planetarium's final song is beautiful, Sufjan's echoed vocals and the beautiful lyrics put the final nail on my coffin, I'm dead as I type this. #103 Kelela LMK Quote LMK is another bop from Kelela's debut, the crazy and wonky synths and Kelela's sexy vocals blend perfectly, we love a bop. #102 Charli XCX Boys Quote Boys is the best track Charli has released since her Vroom Vroom EP, it's a really lowkey but effective and catchy pop song about what ATRL loves the most: dick... I mean, Boys. #101 Iggy Azalea Mo Bounce Quote This LOUD and abnoxious BOP, I accept when a song makes me BOP and want to dance and drop it hard and THIS song does that for me.
