Vxspertine Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 I love how much acclaim Kamasi has been getting I really cannot wait for his next project
volition Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 Denzel and Kamasi’s EPs are favourites here, they’re excellent
TheWayWeWere Posted December 17, 2017 Posted December 17, 2017 just listened Amber few days ago, and her EP is pretty solid

Zay Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 (edited) Loved her EPs. I couldn't choose between the two, but I will say, EP 1 is perfect for spring and EP 2 for fall/winter. EP 1 is perfect when you're just cruising in your car and feeling happily moody. EP 2 is for the fast life. Favorites: Noonside, Feel it Out, raingurl, passionfruit. Spoiler This EP gives me 90's deep house vibes. I was pleasantly surprised by Jesse's skills on this EP. Some of the tracks could be longer but I think this is just a glimpse into what's to come. Favorites: Axolotl, Womb, Heart. Spoiler Another excellent release by Death Grips. It is captivating all the way through and I was very entertained. Spoiler Can I tell you how excited I was when I first heard this EP! She gave me Britney, J-Pop, Mariah, and pop punk all under 25 minutes. It was an excellent collaboration between her and Clarence Clarity (if you haven't heard this album please do). Can't wait to see what she does next! Favorites: Cyber Stockholm Syndrome, Tunnel Vision, Alterlife, Time Out, 10-20-40. Spoiler And the #1 EP of 2017 goes to America by Olga Bell. This is imo slightly superior to her 2016 album release Tempo. On this EP, she refined her sound and experimentation into full-fledged Glitch-pop house excellence. Her lyrics on songs like Special Leave and Cab Driver are surprisingly intimate and anecdotal, giving an edge to the already melancholic instrumentation. Favorites: America, Special Leave, Cab Driver. Spoiler Edited December 18, 2017 by Zay

ATRL Moderator madonnas Posted December 18, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted December 18, 2017 I thought America was kinda just a leftovers EP from her album last year Still liked it though, since we got more.
Vxspertine Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Yaeji and Rina I didn't know Olga Bell released an EP this year, is it really better than Tempo?
