TheWayWeWere Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 LOTB still hits me every time LMBU was such a lacklaster after their previous collabs DSM on the other side Be the One, The Man, LFL
Staryu Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 8/10 with this update, especially love DSM, Love on the Brain, and Swish Swish
Kevin2803 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Be The One still can't believe i paid this bop dust in the beginning
Ghostlysnaker Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 "The Man" is my favorite from this set. I like Katy, Dua Lipa and Khalid too. Infinity War
christyalmeth Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Infinity War’s trailer was so hype good on that one it still gets me shook stan Dirty Sexy Money & Swish Swish :jonny3:

Ignoring the singles - I Don't Know Why, Walking the Wire, Yesterday and Start Over are highlights! I said what I said. ("Yesterday", really?) Oh well, this latest songs set is pretty solid, anyway. "The Man" has really been growing on me recently. Used to not really care for it, and now I'm starting to understand why a lot of people DO like it. It's just too bad that "Run for Cover" isn't making an appearance, when I think that song is even better.

DAY 5 REPLIES: Spoiler 16 hours ago, potent said: I wasnt into The Killers but I got into a couple of their older songs this year (Read My Mind is a masterpiece) and I kinda like The Man. Better than their last lead single imo. I actually loved Runaways I think they're pretty much on the same level for me. Battle Born >>> WW though. 16 hours ago, feelslikeadream said: There's Nothing Holding God Back All of Shawn's 2017 singles making your list So we're both gonna pay that awful collab with C***la dust? 15 hours ago, MP2K said: I've never actually gave LOB a chance lmao ---- Detroit came and went, I forgot all about that film. I have to see it. Interesting Surprising since it's a massive fan/ATRL favorite True, didn't really get a lot of attention at all. I've had it on my watchlist for a bit but it's hard to give up 2 hours and 20 minutes. I didn't even know about it until the trailer popped up somewhere and it was one of the most intense things I've ever seen, whew. 15 hours ago, Jet said: Black Panther and Infinity War trailers were so amazing I'm so hyped Right We're not worthy 5 hours ago, TheWayWeWere said: LMBU was such a lacklaster after their previous collabs Turn Me On > Light My Body Up > Hey Mama tbh 3 hours ago, prézli said: I'm always here for King Derulo. Remmy Posted December 18, 2017 Author Posted December 18, 2017 Day 6 Updates | Best EPs I don't listen to a lot of these, but that's mainly because artists I like don't release them often. All the other EP lists you've seen were probably super indie, and y'all already know mine is gonna be the exact opposite so don't come for me dd. Here are 5 mini projects I enjoyed this year. NOTE: I actually listened to 7, but the others aren't worth mentioning and got cuT. 05. Qveen Herby 'EP 2' Release Date: 12/01/2017 | Grade: B- Brief Thoughts: Not as strong as its predecessor [see below], still has cute moments but it's lowkey just a one-time-listen sorta thing. Thanks for being generous enough to give us 2 EPs in the same year, though! Ranking: Love Myself > Bank > Wifey = Holiday > Well Dressed[[ If I combined my EP and album lists, this would be ranked at #38. ]] 04. Qveen Herby 'EP 1' Release Date: 06/02/2017 | Grade: B+ Brief Thoughts: Amy from Karmin branching out and experimenting a bit, I'm cool with it. I still prefer the old stuff, but there's not much I can complain about. Also, "Wild" really goes off and is one of her best songs overall. Ranking: Wild >> Busta Rhymes > Zombie > Gucci >> Til We Get By [[ If I combined my EP and album lists, this would be ranked at #24. ]] 03. Foster the People 'III' Release Date: 04/27/2017 | Grade: A- Brief Thoughts: A nice teaser of the album (Sacred Hearts Club) that was released a while after this. 2 of these ended up in my top 5 tracks, so I'd say they gave us a solid selection from what was to come. Ranking: Doing It for the Money > S.H.C. > Pay the Man [[ If I combined my EP and album lists, this would be ranked at #12. ]] 02. Billie Eilish 'dont smile at me' Release Date: 08/11/2017 | Grade: A Brief Thoughts: dont smile at me is a very impressive debut, especially since Billie was 14/15 when she was working on it (it's actually her birthday today, slay sis!) It's crazy how she dropped these 8 amazing tracks while many have been spending her whole lifetime trying to make something as good. Ranking: COPYCAT > bellyache > watch > my boy > party favor > hostage > ocean eyes > idwbya [[ If I combined my EP and album lists, this would be ranked at #5. ]] 01. Aly & AJ 'Ten Years' Release Date: 11/17/2017 | Grade: A+ Brief Thoughts: Before the EP came out, there were talks of an Aly & AJ comeback for a long time, but I never expected it to be this incredible. Even as someone who adored their first two albums when I was growing up, I can confidently say that Ten Years is their best release - and yes, "Potential Breakup Song" was dethroned! Ranking: Take Me > I Know = Promises > The Distance [[ If I combined my EP and album lists, this would be ranked at #2. ]]
TheWayWeWere Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Ten Years praise it's strong comeback of them I hope they're coming with album next year
Mezik Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Aly & AJ's 'Ten Years' is cute. They were my idols when I was in Gr.6, glad to them coming back serving quality.
prézli Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 I haven't heard any of Amy's EPs, but I want to listen to them ASAP. Aly & Aj Kweens.

They're cute And obviously short so you can definitely get through 'em real quick Been knew! Last-minute category addition! This is actually gonna replace Best Single Cover because I didn't know what to pick for that one, and last night I was reminded of this atrocity... Shawn Mendes "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back" If you're seeing this photo for the first time, let me tell you: I didn't pick a low quality version, I didn't edit or alter this in any way, this is the ACTUAL cover. I just really don't understand why anyone would think it's a good idea to release a photo in this condition, especially when it's representing your official single. Whoever put that weird, ugly effect over the words (or maybe the whole thing? I can't even tell because it's way too dark) should've been fired. Or just do everyone a favor and attach this to your resignation latter. The only way I'd accept this decision is if the song was called "Blurry Vision" or "My Team Hates Me", and the second one must be true because they did him real dirty.
lhdang2000 Posted December 18, 2017 Posted December 18, 2017 Wait OMG is that cover real? I swear I saw a clear version of that.

The 19th US season was... a choice. Here's my ranking of this unfortunate cast. NOTE: Spoilers all over the place, just in case anyone wants to watch in the future? 17. Raven Walton HOH Wins: 0 | Veto Wins: 0 | Place: 6th Not just a mess of a player, but a trainwreck of a person. I don't really know what to say but I really hope she gets help because it is desperately needed. 16. Paul Abrahamian HOH Wins: 3 | Veto Wins: 5 | Place: 2nd Take away all the rigging, remove all the bullying, and you're still left with an annoying, attention-hungry asshole that didn't deserve to return. 15. Jillian Parker HOH Wins: 0 | Veto Wins: 0 | Place: 15th 100% useless. 14. Matthew Clines HOH Wins: 0 | Veto Wins: 2 | Place: 8th Seemed promising at first... then he immediately threw away his game once he saw Raven, which is still a mystery to me. 13. Cameron Heard HOH Wins: 0 | Veto Wins: 0 | Place: 17th Left on night 1 so we barely saw him, but I can't complain about his early departure. He seemed a little too silly and cringy for my taste. 12. Alex Ow HOH Wins: 3 | Veto Wins: 1 | Place: 5th A sad waste of potential. Episode 1 was her shining moment, then it was all downhill from there. I was still rooting for her at times, but her personality got really nasty (especially when she threw away Kevin's slop.) 11. Josh Martinez HOH Wins: 3 | Veto Wins: 1 | Place: 1st Just too much... absolutely too much... at all times... literally non-stop... though I'll admit that I was cheering him on at the end. 10. Ramses Solo HOH Wins: 0 | Veto Wins: 0 | Place: 13th Ramses on Twitter > Ramses in the Big Brother house. He wasn't bad or anything, just irrelevant. 09. Christmas Abbott HOH Wins: 2 | Veto Wins: 0 | Place: 3rd Christmas breaking her foot was a sad moment because it turned a possible leader into a trapped follower. Her personality is kinda tragic but for some reason I lowkey enjoyed seeing her like that? 08. Megan Lowder HOH Wins: 0 | Veto Wins: 0 | Place: 16th Opinions on Megan seem pretty mixed but I definitely felt bad for her and the situation she got in. Wish we could've seen more of ha. 07. Jason Dent HOH Wins: 2 | Veto Wins: 3 | Place: 7th Exceeded my expectations for sure. One look at this southern rodeo clown named Whistlenut just screams FILLER, but he's actually a decent person and wasn't a waste of space. Still wasn't a big fan, though. 06. Dominique Cooper HOH Wins: 0 | Veto Wins: 0 | Place: 14th 05. Kevin Schlehuber HOH Wins: 0 | Veto Wins: 0 | Place: 4th 04. Cody Nickson HOH Wins: 1 | Veto Wins: 0 | Place: 11th 03. Mark Jensen HOH Wins: 0 | Veto Wins: 2 | Place: 9th 02. Jessica Graf HOH Wins: 1 | Veto Wins: 1 | Place: 12th 01. Elena Davies HOH Wins: 0 | Veto Wins: 0 | Place: 10th I'm just gonna group these 6 together because they're all pretty much on the same page: they're not (entirely) horrible people, they had a few rough moments, and each of them proved that they were there to play - and in a season full of sheep, that's really what we needed. Okay, well, Kevin might be a stretch on the last one, but he's among the few that us viewers could consistently support. As for my #1, Elena didn't really come thru like I was hoping she would, but there was simply something about her that I fell in love with all season long.
