Duca Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 (edited) YOUR TOP 20: A MIDWEEK EXPERIENCE U2’s latest, Songs of Experience, will land at #1 this week with Nashville star Chris Stapleton taking the #2 spot. A Pentatonix Christmas remains Top 5 this week and other perennial holiday titles make a strong showing in the Top 20. *U2 (Interscope) 170-180k SPS, 165-175k Sales *Chris Stapleton (Mercury Nashville) 120-130k, 110-120k Taylor Swift (Big Machine/BMLG) 99-104k, 60-65k Pentatonix (RCA) 66-70k, 47-50k Sam Smith (Capitol) 42-45k, 17-20k Ed Sheeran (Atlantic) 38-41k, 11-13k Michael Buble (Reprise) 36-39k, 15-18k Post Malone (Republic) 35-38k, 2-3k *Miguel (ByStorm/RCA) 33-36k, 13-15k Lil Uzi Vert (Generation Now/Atlantic) 31-34k, 1-2k Pentatonix – That’s Christmas to Me (RCA) 30-33k, 16-19k Kodak Black (Atlantic) 29-32k, <1k Chris Brown (RCA) 29-32k, 3-4k Imagine Dragons (Kidinakorner/Interscope) 25-28k, 9-11k 21 Savage, Offset & Metro Boomin (Slaughter Gang/Epic) 24-27k, <1k Khalid (Right Hand Music/RCA) 23-26k, 4-5k Kendrick Lamar (TDE/Aftermath/Interscope) 22-25k, 3-4k Lil Pump (Tha Global Lights/Warner Bros.) 21-24k, 1-2k Josh Groban (Reprise) 20-23k, 15-18k Mariah Carey (Columbia) 20-23k, 6-7k *DEBUTS NEW RELEASES: EXPERIENCE VS. REPUTATION A chart battle for #1 just might be brewing between U2 and Taylor Swift. Interscope’s rock icons have dropped Songs of Experience, their follow-up to 2014’s Song of Innocence, along with a ticket bundle. Swift’s reputation, meanwhile, just became available for streaming on all DSPs; her SEA may well spike as a result. Meanwhile, Nashville hero Chris Stapleton arrives with a potent sequel of his own, From A Room: Vol. 2. Here’s how things look for now, but you’ll want to check in regularly. Starkboy Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 They expect Taylor to increase that much? seems unlikely considering its Spotify numbers (and I don't expect them to increase?) Chris Stapleton (Mercury Nashville) 110-125k, 95-110k these are underwhelming aren't they
Green Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 I think U2 is getting the #1 They are probably overestimating Taylor's streaming numbers. I don't see Reputation jumping from 157k to 195k SPS
Donquizote Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Taylor streaming numbers are not doing well Legend U2 will get #1
NumbSoul Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Miguel tho Well, tbh I hope Taylor snatches it, but it will probably go to U2!
Truth Teller Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Amazing numbers for Chris, considering he has no radio support. Well, they're playing a song from his last album so there's that Miguel at 14k pure I predicted around 55-60k for him given that Sky Walker is doing well, unlike Coffee. His streaming numbers are solid though thanks to SW
NewRihannaStan Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 I want Miguel to do Frank Ocean numbers. He is so artistic and makes quality music, where is his fanbase?

taylor__fan Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 How is Taylor going to increase after black friday? They are so messu with the predictions lately. U2 will clearly go #1
yamiyuuuu Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 I didn't know what to expect from U2, but it surprises me anyway. Miguel tho... Sky Walker is doing well, what a disaster. Chris Stapleton is quite low too...

Be on the lookout for a separate email with instructions around how you can redeem your album(s). One album per ticket.
fridayteenage Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 chris looks good esp as this is 2nd album this year. i mean, compare jt's 20/20 and 20/20 2. 2017 country 217 kenny (2nd wk 51) 202 chris (2nd wk 66) 139 zac brown (2nd wk 23) 134 shania (2nd wk 14) 98 tim and faith 94 thomas (2nd wk 20) 103 is the mid-point for chris which would put him t5 for the country year.
simmnfierzig Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Not a stupid bundle knocking Taylor off #1

iHype. Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 Taylor would (rightfully) get completely massacred by media if she did a ticket bundle. Making your fans pre-order the album to get higher in line for tickets, then including another album with ticket purchases.
