slw84 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 not sure about sales but in terms of airplay POST MALONE - Rockstar f/21 Savage (89.646) (+1.599) CAMILA CABELLO - Havana f/Young Thug (89.343) (+2.888) Her team needs to do something. Either discount it Friday or if rockstar releases the video this Friday then wait 2-3 weeks after Rockstar boost tapers off.

Planet Mars Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Just listened to Gucci Gang, it's trash and the artist was born in 2000 It's things like this that make me feel old, and I thought this song was by Lil Uzi this entire time. This kid looks like a Post Malone/Lil Uzi/Justin Bieber mix, what is happening with the world ugh.

fridayteenage Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Well, if it were discounted and there were enough extra sales to make up the difference, technically it could raise more money for charity...

pride4jc1222 Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Did Uptown Funk make it 100 weeks on the recurrent chart, or did it fall off this week?

Like Sorry Not Sorry, TGAG, etc and theres countless other examples. Back in the day the current single was never really helped on the Hot 100 during album release week. Streaming won. huh? it's been like that for quite some time now I remember Locked Out of Heaven (2012) experiencing a huge surge in chart points on album release week which was enough to send it to the #1 spot (iirc...let me check that) since streaming came in and Spotify, this has been a common occurrence...you guys are only just now noticing it because artists are doing a bit more like discounts and what not...but it's always been there

But she had like one massive hit. Team was cute fodder. Sam sent most of his singles from his debut to the T10 (helps he had urban support with those radio remixes with Mary, John, etc) plus Latch, and La La La was T20. Plus he’s way safer than Lorde and was going to return just as safe.
fridayteenage Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 yeah sam was described as male adele. lorde, notsomuch.
