Few upbeat songs which is a tad disappointing, but he really shines in some songs, and you come to appreciate the lyrics more (unless you're like everyone else on atrl who hates ballads). I might prefer his previous album but it's too soon to tell.

I do not follow the country scene but by looking at his last album's first week sales, he debuted with 170k SPS, 153,000 pure ;

 

I'm guessing he did not have a bigger hit this year because this is a steep drop  but with the CMA awards on Wednesday, he could probably increase

I think his last lead "Came Here to Forget" was a big country hit.

 

Edit: Peaked at number 1 on country airplay and number 2 on hot country songs. His last album was also released the week of The Voice Finale.

But they’re only predicted 95k pure (with ticket bundles) so they’d only have to drop like 30k from ticket bundles

They make a pretty good chunk from the ones I remember. P!nk's bundle was about half, Witness was about 2/3, Kenny's was damn near 100%. Not sure about Kesha's.

Not even 60k for Blake is a bit letdown tbh considering that his prebious album did 170k SPS. I know that CHTF was a bigger hit than Dogs but I expected him to do at least 100k anyway...
