Few upbeat songs which is a tad disappointing, but he really shines in some songs, and you come to appreciate the lyrics more (unless you're like everyone else on atrl who hates ballads). I might prefer his previous album but it's too soon to tell. -- Great numbers in this climate Sam

It seemed really low to me. Did he have a bigger hit last year? Or is it just the sales decline?

Did he have a bigger hit last year? Or is it just the sales decline? I do not follow the country scene but by looking at his last album's first week sales, he debuted with 170k SPS, 153,000 pure ; I'm guessing he did not have a bigger hit this year because this is a steep drop but with the CMA awards on Wednesday, he could probably increase Edited November 6, 2017 by EyesOnMe
Kelly Is Bae Posted November 6, 2017 Posted November 6, 2017 Would kelly have outsold M5 if they didnt have those bundles?

Edit: Peaked at number 1 on country airplay and number 2 on hot country songs. His last album was also released the week of The Voice Finale. Edited November 6, 2017 by TSLGNMA

Not sure about Kesha's.

NickARTPOP Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Blake flopping because no one cares about him now that he's not married to Miranda Lambert and no one cares what he has to say about the divorce, The Weight of These Wings won
Monster Boy Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Prognosticators suggest his second full-length studio album, The Thrill of It All, will debut atop next week’s chart with a little more than 200,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending Nov. 9. http://www.billboard.com/biz/articles/8023328/sam-smiths-the-thrill-of-it-all-aiming-for-no-1-on-billboard-200-albums-chart?utm_source=twitter
Nerevanin Posted November 7, 2017 Posted November 7, 2017 Not even 60k for Blake is a bit letdown tbh considering that his prebious album did 170k SPS. I know that CHTF was a bigger hit than Dogs but I expected him to do at least 100k anyway...
