BTW for $0.99 did see a loss for AMAZON. Who's denying that? But it was they're choice as a private party to purchase every copy at full price and resell it. Take an economics course please. I study International Business and am just 1 year away from my bachelor degree, so I should be more qualified to recite economic theory or marketing practices, thank you! It probably was Live Nation's (not RCA's) choice as a private party to purchase every copy that people redeem and make available for them through ticket sales. They probably accounted for it in the ticket price increase. Everything after the 1st week will be extra money for them since they don't need to purchase more albums.
C_Colstead Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 WOW!!! I was genuinely expecting 200k with SPS included! Slay LEGEND.
Eóghan Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Not surprised. She always had strong first week sales. She always kept her talent in the forefront (her Grammy GITH perf' is iconic), so her credibility always stayed intact, she never truly lost fans. And most importantly she never strayed too far in different gendra, so she never confused her fans. That's how you keep a fanbase faithful, even if you become kinda boring in the long run.
NickARTPOP Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Tour bundles are never a loss for anyone anyways because if you want them to count towards the chart you must make them an extra cost that can be removed.

But the burger company isn't going to stop including lettuce on their burgers next week and keep the price the same, are they. Yes. Because they can. They do it all the time, they just give he burger a different name

You need to do take econ 101 really. Say tour ticket price is $150 on average. If they didn’t do the first week album bundle, the average price would have been $147.50. (Numbers are for demonstration purposes only). Nothing is free and the ticket prices cover the cost of the first week album bundle.
