chiliam Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Such a surprise bitch moment. Congrat Pink. If only the 2nd single is better....
By the Water Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 These are very impressive numbers She's gonna snatch the biggest female album of the year with just her first week sales. Even if she has ticket bundles, so did Witness, which currently holds that title. Also, it's not like WAU was a huge hit in the US.
dperkins Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 People always underestimate her because of how her singles take forever to take off or because of her streaming. But they forget she’s always been a strong album seller. I mean, I’m still SHOCKED at this high number though. I was gonna be happy with close to 200k SPS. This is INSANE.
youcallingmyname Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 People always lile to count P!nk out but she always has the last laugh. Congrats to longevity

It’s Top 10 in overall airplay at the moment and has been Top 20 in sales every week since it’s release.

Your entire argument line is just your assumptions on the bundle business. You haven't been a part of one, you can't state how this thing works. Or do I have to come up with the Gaga BTW 0.99 sales? Someone made a loss but the LABEL GOT THE MONEY in the end. When you give something away for free you could have potentially made a sale on, you lose money. FACT. BTW for $0.99 did see a loss for AMAZON. Who's denying that? But it was they're choice as a private party to purchase every copy at full price and resell it. Take an economics course please.
MrBeyonceFan Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 It’s really just JT, Bey & P!nk who can sell from the TRL era

Someone is not making money when you use ticket bundles. I don't care who it is. There may be other factors as to why ticket prices stay the same after bundle. Just because you order cheese burger without the lettuce and the price remains, that doesn't mean the lettuce is free
Energy Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Not y'all acting brand new. When has P!nk not been able to sell an alberm?
perfillusion Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Omg this tour bundles are doing wonders.
Bloodflowers. Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Lemme blast Beautiful Trauma again her 2012 album sold 6 million, I wonder how this will do. What About Us is rising in the US, and her second single "Revenge" is bound to be a Top 10 hit. ATRL LOST!

Pink's power is entirely based on her music, talent, and performances. Tabloids and social media will make you an interesting pop culture figure but at most, those should be extra add-on things to your career like in Bey or JT's case (who also have crazy selling power because of their music, talent, and performance skills, but make tabloids go crazy too). If you're primarily defined by your social media power but music success doesn't match, then you're not doing it right and need to rethink things. Yup. No one's music career should be based on tabloids. Pink, Bey, and JT have the formula down

But the burger company isn't going to stop including lettuce on their burgers next week and keep the price the same, are they.
H-I-M Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Joanne being the last main girl before the tour bundle trend.
