Why wouldn't they? Are you from RCA? :chick2:

No he's not :rip: He has NO idea how the industry works :rip: He thinks he knows because some teenager on a forum said something.  STOp listening to this person.

And FYI yes, ticket bundles ARE the new go-to marketing strategy. Everyone is doing it. Everyone will keep doing it. Get used to it! At the end of the day, the label gets paid, the artist gets paid, the producers get paid, and people have to CHOOSE to redeem the album. The ticket bundle is just another way of getting the product to them, since physical + digital retail is dying.

That's marketing. For practical purposes the cost is included because the label still gets PAID. That $11.99 or whatever it is goes to the label/artist/producers/etc as part of what a normal album sale would, not towards the tour.

LMAO @ you thinking that the tour promoter can just give out the album for free and the label won't get anything. That's literally illegal. They invested millions in that product. You have NO idea how the music industry works so please stop spreading misinformation :ahh:

This literally makes no sense. When the label does a bundle they're literally taking a loss to inflate sales. A $59.95 nosebleed Pink ticket is a $59.95 Pink ticket with or without the album bundle. You cannot tell me the label generates the same revenue from a real album purchase vs. a ticket bundle.

Britney's #s are not like the others...

The trinity from the 00s generation that stood the test of time is JT, Bey and P!nk only

True but that wasn't really the point I was making. Britney still opened with better numbers than more contemporary acts like Sia and Fifth Harmony without the help of songs near the top of the charts like the latter two.

Damn girl :jonny:

She's definitely a legend at this point, had no idea that she would be opening this big

The label is deciding to lose part of its profit from the tickets in order to deliver the albums. That's the reason why tickets are more expensive. And in P!nk's case you can argue it's true, since the prices skyrocketed. So yes, she's still making a way larger profit with her tour and her album than she did in 2012 with TTAL.

YES THEY DO. P!NK DOES NOT HAVE A 360 DEAL. THEY WOULD NEVER GIVE AWAY HER ALBUM FOR FREE. Get it into your head and STOP SPREADING MISINFORMATION.

Pink is a huge touring act. Her tickets are expensive because the demand is high. Not because they chose to include an album with it. The ticket sales will remain that high long after the tour bundle is over as well.

Don't know why you're all so impressed, she's the biggest female act sans Adele and Taylor after all...

P!nk's label gets nothing from her tour.

But why are you assuming the label would be the one to take the loss and not the tour producer? :eatpopcorn:

Guess this is a good look at the tour bundle boost from an actual album seller.

You're completely delusional :skull:

Then it's the artist who will renounce part of the profit in order to make this profitable. The logic is the same.

But where is your proof that the tickets are the same price without bundle? :eatpopcorn:

Why would a tour producer care about a tour bundle? The labels (and artist) the only one who sees benefit from it as it inflates their chart positions.
