And lets not forget her yearly releases back then.

Which makes it incredibly hard and inaccurate to compare artists from different ages in music history. Sometimes... in Madonna's case (or Whitney's, Janet's etc) it becomes incredibly hard to compare even their own albums throughout the times... because some smashed under completely different circumstances by different rules which were focused on. Take Streisand - the most promiment example... she has released albums for 60 years now and her 1990s, 1980s releases and her 1960s and 1970s releases were released under completely different charting rules. All of these lists... compiled by BB or other people here on ATRL or anywhere... have to put a * next to everyone who released albums prior to 2010 because their H100 and Top 200 chartings have been limited before that year under various rules which applied at one point... (and often lasted for decades).
Curly Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 It's so much easier to spend 20+ weeks at Hot 100 than 10 or 20 years ago. By the way, does those weeks of Beyoncé includes DC as well?

Brodie Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Dang Taylor has nearly a 1000 after only 5 albums and essentially no features...
Dreajae Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 Bey's power proven as a solo artist once again. Her time in DC looks more like a footnote these days.
peterstyles13 Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 It would be interesting to see also the Hot 200! Nice work btw

This will make her #7 in this list but I assume some of the data could be wrong too. I just realized I searched for 'Janet Jackson' only but on her last releases she was just 'Janet', sorry Updated

BeautyNumber2 Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 This list needs to be clarified. Female artists who are not the lead do not deserve to have achievements alongside artists who received full points for their songs. I would like to see a list with LEAD female artists. A feature only accounts for 1/4 the charts points, therefore features cannot count for full chart runs using Billboard’s own rules so seethe.
Touchdown Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 And most weeks at number one goes to skinny legend herself miss Mariah Carey with 79

How demanding just because it’s a list of female artists doesn’t mean features can’t count. I’m not doing another list because selecting songs that count would take me so much more time & effort. If I’m not wrong Billboard counts the weeks as a featured artist as charting-weeks anyway
