Plastic Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 (edited) Wait, Beyonce debuted in 1997? I always thought she debuted in 2003 with Dangerously In Love since that was, you know, her debut album Edited October 4, 2017 by Plastic

Rei Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Sunshine if Beyoncé's debut was on November 11th, 1997 then she's still not 20 years into her career. If Mi Gente is top 10 by November 11th, 2017 then we can talk.
ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted October 4, 2017 ATRL Moderator Posted October 4, 2017 I see legends and Justin

Achilles. Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Is there any logic to how these artists are ranked? It's not alphabetical, or ranked by the length of the gap between debut and last top 10 appearance... You can also add Prince, given that "Purple Rain" returned to the top 10 following his death. And although Dolly Parton's first album debut in 1967, she released her first single in 1959. "Islands in the Stream" hit #1 in 1983, which is a 20+ year gap from her first single... But not from her first album.
HeavyMetalAura Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 GMAYL was released in 2012 not 2010 but thanks for compiling the list!

umich Posted October 4, 2017 Posted October 4, 2017 Janet and Mariah are like months shy of the twenty-year mark (1982 and 1990, respectively). Their last top tens were in August 2001 and August 2009.
