Reason why is Starboy the song peaked at #1 but is no where to be found but yet 24K MAGIC (song) is still on iTunes and is one of the most successful songs of 2016-17. Meanwhile, ABEL only released 2 singles let's be real... Bruno, on the other hand, released a single in October, January, and June. The man is a Longevity king and is currently dominating the Billboard 200. Abel has since then gone and left the charts. Had he released True Colors, Lonely Night, Die For You he could have sustained the 3rd hit but the sis thought it was cute to release some Hip-Hop trash that no one cared for. Hopefully this is is a Reminder to him to release better material because the album is a half good. Now let’s get some tea ready Billboard 200 this week: Starboy #23 24K Magic #24 Can you guess which one was released first and spent five weeks at #1? Spotify Starboy has over 2 BILLION streams meanwhile Bruno is barely scrapping 1B Acclaim:Starboy won Tour: I’ll hand this one to Bruno but let’s not forget his career spans a decade meanwhile Abel’s mainstream debut was in 2015 Bruno spent every inch of his soul promoting his tired record while Abel is taking care of his sick girlfriend, a lupus survivor. Starboy has impact, hits that aren’t catered to soccer moms and is bigger WW and the US Abel won hence why his album will be bigger on the year end list

And if you want to talk Worldwide they’re actually near each other in SPS and Starboy’s hits were MUCH bigger. It’s not as huge as a difference between the eras success as y’all try to push. No, actually Starboy hasn't done more SPS than 24k Magic, and it isn't doing enough SPS to pass it by the end of the year. Also, that WW number I gave are SPS and 600k is not close. Not to mention Bruno will benefit much more from holiday sales because he has universal appeal. Edited September 30, 2017 by NickARTPOP

Bruno scored a #1 in May... Talk about Longevity Yes selling 1 MIllion tickets is a feat That's What I Like is the #2 song of the summer It's also the biggest radio summer song Bruno actually passed 1 million in pure sales... the good sis don't even need SPS like others do 24K Magic the song is still charting on iTunes like if it was a #1 hit with 350 days+ 24K Magic album is currently #20 on iTunes whereas starboy is at #51 and both are priced at 7.99 Do I need to continue?

Starboy has done more SPS to date. [2] Mediatraffic is off for Weeknd’s album by a bit, and Starboy (song) was much bigger than 24K Magic (song) prior to their albums release so the total is more closer with those also added.

Tea is stale and cold considering Starboy had record breaking streaming numbers in 2016, which this list is missing. A little sad that with all those stats you listed off that the album is only doing 200K more units, becuase like you mentioned, Starboy only had two real singles hm

Now back to our scheduled program. Edited September 30, 2017 by PrinceMichaelFan

Find me the 2016 chart then, I guarantee it doesn't make up the difference. Bruno passed Abel by his 4th week on the chart and was near the top during the best sales weeks of the year. The weeks Abel topped them after his debut are the worst chart weeks of the year, and Bruno was never far behind.

BuzzAngle 2016 Year End Report (same company used by HDD for their numbers): http://www.buzzanglemusic.com/wp-content/uploads/BuzzAngle-Music-2016-U.S.-Report.pdf Starboy: 904,000 24K Magic: 684,000 1,382,000 + 684,000 = 2,066,000 SPS to date for 24K Magic 1,186,000 + 904,000 = 2,090,000 SPS to date for Starboy. You were guaranteeing what?

slw84 Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 In this day and age if you can score 2 hits in your era then it's a success @PrinceMichaelFan is right. Bruno pulled through in the end even if his new single is a flop. He should put out one more uptempo song to end the era and be done with it.
Rush Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 @simmnfierzig If Demi makes the top 10, will it be possible for her to increase this week even with Mi Gente?
