Two separate weeks and situations. It just proved how strong "Despacito" was. "Look" wasn't nearly as strong.

Exactly what i was saying, but anyways i'm lowkey glad WT didn't go #1 cause it wasn't as iconic as Rih's other #1s

@simmnfierzighow come LWYMMD points didn't increase despite discount?

Her On Demand streaming is decreasing fast

For example today is #16 on US Spotify

Does RIU have a chance to peak top 5 :dancehall2:?

"Starboy" and "Black Beatles" were #1s last year :deadbanana3: That BB calendar is a disgusting mess.

Starboy was the first #1 this year, first tracking week. Black Beatles had 1 week this year hun.

No. The Billboard chart date isn't the same of the tracking week. There are 2 weeks of difference.

For example Cardi B's Bodak Yellow (the current #1) is for the tracking week of September 15th and September 21st for sales and streams and September 18th and September 24th for airplay.

But the Billboard chart dale as you can see is October 7th:

So there are 2 weeks of difference. In reality the first #1 of 2017 is Bad And Boujee.

Guess you saw my early predictions. I haven't looked at anything since

Huh?

Had 369 this week and had it at 379 in my early predictions for next week. Which includes the discount, but guess we be lower than that. Streaming losses are huge

It seems Rockstar will top the hot 100 in a few weeks...

Probably.

Why is that ":rip:"?

Because the song was always one of the best songs from Stoney but went way under the radar except on youtube and then one performance of him performing it live went viral and it blew up quick and fast almost a year after it was released

What's also funny is I always thought Post and his team should have pushed I Fall Apart as a single after Congratulations peaked because I felt it had hit potential.

Queen Pen isn't credited for No Diggity

No Diggity

BLACKstreet (Featuring Dr. Dre)

I think that's a glitch with Billboard.

There are many songs that have charted, and were officially released with a feature and credited, but not stated so on the Billboard chart.

I can name several that I''ve seen. :date:

So I guess every song with a catchy chorus is pop now?

Stop this.

Yes. Bodak Yellow is structured like a pop song. The formula has been around for years.

Is BY predicted to stay atop next week too? :duca:

Starboy is the first official #1 of 2017 and first new #1 of 2017. It was announced on 12/27/16, just 4 days shy of the new year. Technically if you wanted to give it a full week at #1 after the official announcement it would have 3 days in the new year. Billboard is generally 11-12 days off announcing the #1 and week it accounts for depending on holidays, not a full 2 weeks.

Wrong guys. Starboy is the first official #1 of the year. @PurrKaty summed it up perfectly. The date stated is January 7, check Billboard and here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Billboard_Hot_100_number-one_singles_of_2017

They even posted in their article saying how the first 4 weeks of 2017 had more fluid movement than any other year. :rip:

Learn your facts guys, sorry. :sorry:

Perro Fiel by Shakira debuts on #124

Mayores by Beck G debuts on #125

This has always been a bit comical to me not because I find it weird...i just find it interesting

Like when ppl go back and check to see what song was #1 when they were born...in actuality the #1 song in America probably isn't the #1 that's listed on Billboard

Someone born today...the #1 song is Bodak Yellow, but the chart would say Look What You Made Me Do

Well, Kesha is credited for Right Round in the UK, but not in the US.
