My goodness... what about the others that also went #1?

At least Iggy was the lead artist on her song. and was also #2 w another song concurrently for a few weeks (#1 and #2 with her first two Hot 100 entries). and then eventually had 3 songs on the top 10 at the same time as well. not every female rapper has all that so I guess she can afford the alleged shade for one of her many achievements Edited September 26, 2017 by okgo
Kyungsoowift Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 i love that the charts became interesting these days
Invader Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Wow the number ones this year have been very urban
Bathomet Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 (edited) worst #1 of the year Edited September 26, 2017 by Bathomet
Chemical X. Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 (edited) Fergie is not a RAPPER. London Bridge will never be a rap song. No one is shading Iggy (or other female rappers who reached #1 with a feature). Hitting the top spot solo is a huge achievement for rappers in general, male or female, as it means you didn't need a pop assist to get there. Edited September 26, 2017 by Chemical X.
fridayteenage Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 presumably taylor will change this, but right now the only multiweek sales #1s this year are the super dominants shape & despacito.

Schhh Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 Witness is #57 on BB200 The Fame is no longer charting.
Bussea Posted September 26, 2017 Posted September 26, 2017 It's a sad feeling that this song will be etched into history I feel bad for actual talented female rappers who make great music that was deserving of this
