Rock That Beat... Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 I am so happy for Cardi. Like I am glad Taylor released her song when she did because it blocked Despacito, but now the chances are very slim for Cardi to reach #1. Can someone please tell me she has a chance?

She has streaming but Taylor is ahead in sales and radio airplay. Heard that her debut album will be released in October so that might be her chance. But Logic also come stronger and we don't know when is Taylor's next promo song. Anything is possible right now because Eminem might release his lead single too.

chiliam Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 The top 5 is crazy competitive and close right now. Each contenders had their strength, so interesting. I`m okie with Taylor step back after 3 weeks at #1 as long as Look stay in the top 5 until the 2nd single.

Ferret Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 These Taylor stans should be reported for being off topic. I came here to look for predictions and I just found your petty fights. OT: do we have any prediction for next week?
Agenor Posted September 12, 2017 Posted September 12, 2017 (edited) @simmnfierzig Lamar's "Love." went recurrent, so it seems that gaining in activity and position are both important for a song to stay on the chart beyond 20 weeks. Edited September 12, 2017 by Agenor

Once that wears off it will drop like a rock. It's also not a song that will serve longevity as it's not a song that you can listen to everyday and enjoy. The thing is it has already been serving longevity, lingering on radio and streaming services. It just needed a major platform and luckily MTV provided that platform appropriately. And why couldn't one enjoy listening to it regularly? Music isn't just about being vapid and catchy. It can have an inspiring message people want to hear. That many need to hear and help them, in this song's particular case.

Either there will be a lot of beeping or just repeating "I make money moves" over and over. Not gonna lie, the song is terrible and shocked its doing well at all. Just go back to the 90s and 00s of any rapper performing on an award show/talk show. Most notably LL cool j Doin it at MTV vmas. A mess that he sounded stupid without the real words. It's possible. they will just bleep it and use other words. Or use the radio edit. 12 hours ago, igetfilthy said: I don't see that Logic song hitting #1. Would be nice because that's 2 new rappers on the list this year and then we have Eminem coming soon.
