The global smash sung by Puerto Ricans Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee featuring Canadian popstar Justin Bieber becomes only the 14^th song to top the charts for more than 4 weeks – first since Ariana Grande’s 2016 hit “Into You,” which topped for a total of 6 weeks. Will it challenge P!nk & Nate Ruess’ record for lthe ongest #1 reign with “Just Give Me A Reason” which tallied a hefty 14 weeks atop?

 

Other notable actions in the countdown:

-Charlie Puth’s “Attention” reaches a new peak as it jumps 8-2, making it Puth’s 5^th Top 2 hit. With all of Puth’s songs reaching #1, will “Attention” challenge for the #1 spot next week?

-New peaks this week for Niall Horan’s “Slow Hands” up 7 spots (12-5), Demi Lovato’s “Sorry Not Sorry” up 5 spots (13-8) and Calvin Harris and the gang’s “Feels” up 5 spots (15-10).

-Huge drops for some songs: down 11 spots for Katy & Nicki’s “Swish Swish” and Selena Gomez’s “Bad Liar,” and down 6 spots for Bruno’s former #1 “Versace On The Floor.” The drops were expected for these songs who remained in the Top 5/10 for a quite some time now and to give chance for new songs to reach new peaks.
