I could've sworn Shake It Off & Blank Space made it to #1, I used to hear them all the time! Hope she gets the #1 this time then!

No Spotify must've really hurt her on the charts thefe

Is the #1 really on lock for here rn? LWYMMD is really building that lead :)

First? :rip: Wow, she used to be really local.

To be fair, she would definitely have gotten at least one #1 here during the 1989 era but her music wasn't Spotify and that hurt her. It's not like she was irrelevant and people weren't checking for her.

Were basing this off a tweet? Still not confident. Dua has more spotify streams

Tuesday Update (no word on any possible missing data)

Singles

1. Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do (35.7k)

4. Calvin Harris feat. Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry & Big Sean - Feels (15.2k)

5. Justin Bieber & BloodPop - Friends (13.6k)

I'm guessing around 55-60k for LWYMMD this week.

I think the #1 should be on lock. she's selling twice as much as Dua and the gap on Spotify isn't that big

SIO would've made it if it wasn't taken off Spotify, I think :'( BS peaked at #4 and would've also probably peaked at #1 if it was on Spotify.

I'm not sure about Blank Space.

But with Shake It Off it's been discussed before, and it was determined that it wouldn't have got to #1 even with Spotify.

I agree. I think I remember SIO also topping the midweek chart because the streaming data isn't fully up to date on the midweek chart, it relies mostly on sales but in the end All About That Bass blocked it from #1. However, she's now got streaming on her side which is the main reason she was blocked so it could go either way...

Oh right, I forgot the Spotify thing.

Nobody uses 5H here so their performance isn't surprising

We much prefer the far superior Little Mix :clap3:

No she didn't. She just wasn't lucky, Love Story, I Knew You Were Trouble and Shake It Off all peaked at #2. But she is huge in the UK:

Quote

Love Story: Taylor’s breakout hit in the UK was very nearly a Number 1 single, peaking at Number 2 behind Kelly Clarkson’s My Life Would Suck Without You (what a time to be alive). Taylor has the last laugh though – her song has 799,000 combined sales to date - 337,000 more than Kelly’s.

When it comes to albums, Taylor’s most recent collection 1989 finishes top of the sales pile with 1.1 million combined sales to date. 2012’s Red is second with a very respectable 624,000 sales, and her 2008’s Fearless is third on 570,000.

Yeah, Taylor's #1 is on lock. P!nk is lowkey coming too, she may challenge her the following week.
