It's kind of a sexist song, perpetuating a Latino stereotype that doesn't represent us at all. The video also exploits and glamourizes one of the poorest areas in the island. The double standard is the reason people say it's racist. The passionate debate about life throwing the poor people a bone is despicable. Then these same people complaining will come to mainland US with their hand out screaming racism when they are just as guilty if not worse. Literally the only reason people are complaining and the only reason Desposito was so popular is because the song is Afro-Latino with a white guy singing the hook and sounding amazing while doing it.
