Taylor better bring it! Prayer circle for #1

Gurl, at this point, LWYMMD is so massive that not even an Adele lead single can stop it from going #1.

and even if sales will go 60-70% in second week (third?), streaming will be down max 20%

Her streaming will obviously go down by a LOT more than 20%

Unsure why you are so falsely confident about that

Cardi B is gonna be blocked, because Taylor Swift is spending at least 6 consecutive weeks at #1 even if it's frontloaded like Born this way.

The streming/radio/sales is just so big.

I was thinking the exact same thing. I haven't seen this much hype for a single since Born This Way, not to mention, BTW's video flopped badly, and we know how Taylor is doing with hers. It may spend more than 6 weeks, tbh.

True, not me forgetting about one of the biggest hits of the decade. :skull:

Anyway. LWYMMD is definitely spending more than 6 weeks, it's streaming numbers will keep being INSANE due to the hype alone.

Amazing, Luis Fonsi & Justin deserved that #1 spot.

Despacito is easily the best summer song from the past years.:clap3:

Bad Blood did 385k first week (with remix), it ended up doing about 240k the second week.

I think as long as LWYMMD does 200k second week it should be safe for the second week.

Not when Adele had more than double the points as LWYMMD

Question: if Taylor gets #1 next week but Despacito comes back to #1 eventually wouldn't it still count as breaking Mariah's record even if it wasn't consecutive weeks? ?

no, keyword consecutive. meaning 17 weeks straight without being dethroned or replaced.

It's both. Most week at #1 and most week consecutively at #1. The former is way way way way more important.

either way she'll still be number 1 for atleast 3-4 weeks! the video gave it that power to stay #1 for  a while

It isn't really "defeating the evil" if you take into consideration the fact that Despacito still tied the record. If Taylor really gave a damn about the record she would've released her track a week earlier.
