Don't get cocky now sis  :foot:

This is obviously the doing of a dedicated fanbase

I'm not "cocky" and the fanbase thing is irrelevant to my post. Fact is she broke Spotify and STILL managed to outdo herself digitally and on Youtube. People said 1989's sales would have been different with Spotify and all I see now with LWYMMD is that their argument is OVERRULED.

If the album was released closer to the lead, I could see it pulling even bigger numbers on rihlease day... but anyway, amazing numbers, wow.

*We dont know how reutation will do compared to 1989, just saying

*i dont think anyone seriously claimed she's "over" but i dunno

*ofc not being on spotify helps the stats on YT, her catalog isnt doing too much on Spotify tho, GP still mostly uses YT for her old songs. We'll see how it turns out this time around.

*IDWLF had the highest debut of all her soundtrack singles so yeah maybe it's indicative

Consider how LWYMMD has similiar numbers to 1989s lead, and Taylor's last 3 albums opened with 1m+, on top of that her album sales are consistently massive, I think we can rest assured.

Her haters, especially on this site were claiming that 'she was done and that Kim "ended" her, that her true colors were starting to show, how she was a snake and liar and everybody (even her fans) were starting to see her for the nasty person she was all along' It was a long standing joke, though we (her stans) knew it was false all along.

Her Spotify listeners have massively increased since putting her discog  back on streaming.

People were saying that IDWLF bombed because SIO opened with nearly triple its numbers. Only the fans were saying her soundtrack singles have never indicated how much her solo album singles would sale. Turns out, they celebrated a little too early.

Im comparing what haters have said in order to downplay her career to the actual truth of the matter. It's always fun when you end up proving the detractors wrong and I'm reveling in that.
