A big part of playing the color game is taste, but another big part of it is signing up with someone who has good looks in every color and style. Every season people who have amazing runs go home on rounds where they don't have the best outfits because their model just doesn't have a good outfit in that color or theme. For this round, 50% of the reason why whoever goes home this week is going home is because of who someone else chose to sign up with and that seems kind of unfair. (Sorry if it seems like I'm complaining a lot, it's not that big of a deal and it's your game so you can put whatever twists you want, and I appreciate the time you put into this game.  I'm not trying to offend Citrus or Bowie and I'm completely okay with having Bowie, it just seems kind of unfair to everyone and the person who ends up going home.)

Perhaps you're right. I wouldn't do a swap in a mini round unless it was also a color too. It would be a bit superfluous.

 

But if you go home because of a swap isn't that no different than going home because your regular celeb conveniently didnt have any good looks to fit the theme? Couldn't switching just be a play in the name of balance then? Many of us end up finding options we could've submitted instead for the round we left in too. But the bottom also doesn't have to necessarily be who failed, but could just be who got the short end of the stick. 

 

This play removes the crutch that is your fashion icon celeb and makes it about your taste. I would be impressed with someone prevailing with and without their celeb than only because they had a fashionable one.

 

Edit: Oh and since this is a twist, we're only doing it once. I wouldn't do it more than otherwise it would definitely become unfair, especially to those who have looks lined up  (Unless I included it for a mini challenge ? Don't give me ideas.)

Personally I would rather be eliminated because of a look that I sent with the person that I signed up with than get eliminated because of a look I sent for a celeb someone else signed up with. Even though I would still be eliminated, at least I would know it was my choice to sign up with the celeb and I knew what I was getting myself in to.

 

The people in the bottom being the people who got the short end of the stick is kind of my whole point on why this round isn't really fair. Some celebrities just have more diverse and overall better selections of outfits and have a higher chance at going further and doing better in some rounds than others, which is something you have to take into account when signing up at the beginning of the season, so switching it up and making a big part of someone's fate in the game based on someone else's choice of who they signed up with seems unfair.
