How is That's What I Like still so high? It's not even top 20 on iTunes & Spotify - is its radio play that strong? :dies:

Youtube views and Airplay

It's #2 on Youtube and #2 on Radio.

Just like Iggy's fancy and a few other crossover songs...That's what i like has the luxury of not being forced on all formats at the same time.

So Pop took it first and then Rhythmic and then much later urban took it on board and it is what's giving it longevity and that helps the recent audience to take it want to watch the video more

There's no proof that it was done for Jay-Z or DJ Khalid.  Slander much?

The numbers were extremely suspicious

Did it get enough streams this week to go #1 on the Hot 100?

It removed the remix for a day but even then Despacito was still #1 with the original version. Its far below especially when you add in Despacito is huge lead over YT so no, it was never #1 in streaming and is still currently below even on Spotify.

Btw...its down 6% in sales.

The streams are literally going up as **** as we speak. By the way, Justin Bieber's remix of 'Despacito' is still great and my favorite. I sensed a bit of post-rock with a ceremonial vibe in the ending in 'Despacito''s original MV's ending, never hated it, but that made me like it even more.

It's also getting a lot of points from Youtube. So basically radio + youtube

It didn't either...

"DJ Khaled's "Wild Thoughts," featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, holds at its No. 2 Hot 100 high. It keeps at No. 2 on Streaming Songs (35.5 million, down 5 percent); pushes 8-5 on Radio Songs (107 million, up 11 percent); and rebounds 10-8 on Digital Song Sales (40,000, down 4 percent)." http://www.billboard.com/articles/columns/chart-beat/7874136/despacito-hot-100-11th-week-charlie-puth

As for this week, which article will be published in a couple of hours, Digital Song Sales "Wild Thoughts" is down 9 percent to 36,427 downloads.

THIS TIME THEY GAVE CREDIT TO SIMM. Stop the livestream at 9:30 and they say go follow Simon Fierzig on twitter, without him we wouldn't have these predictions

Obviously no one will find me from a person trying to say my nick, but at least something

There's def some infighting at Billboard. We know the higher ups are not agreeing with the interns already plus Tyler has put them on blast in his tweets so they have to tread carefully.

Yeah. I have tried to email Gary and Silvio on a number of occasions lately.  Gary will get back with me, but I can't remember the last time Silvio responded.  Maybe some of the dissension relates to the 25/52 rule.  That's a good one to eliminate. Maybe BB is considering reweighting streaming again due to these 6+ months runs in the Top 10. When UF did it, that had the metrics to justify it.  But Closer, while bigger on Top 40, and SOY, didn't really seem big enough to earn their longevity.  I still don't see the article, but Lana did finish #1. Meek finished 3rd, but with > 86 M streams.

Not sure if asked but is Hot 100 being delayed? they usually reveal who has the #1 song on Monday and #1 album on Sunday, but I havent seen anything yet?

Yeah.  The delays seem strange, especially with the Meek Mill streaming controversy. Lana finished #1, followed by Tyler #2.  Mill had to settle for #3, but those 86 M streams look beyond bloated.

Hmmm...maybe we will get something tomorrow for both? Just seems odd I don't remember Billboard really being delayed unless it's a holiday week or something
