I'm guessing you're gay, and white??

yes please God make me black & straight so I can then see the rivetting charisma of Shawn, Niall, Charlie, Sam etc and their dynamic personalities.

It's about to peak on radio, streams are falling & sales have been decreasing for a month now with heavy promotion already lol.

Mariah is safe.

It's falling very slowly and still has a HUGE lead over #2, and they haven't even discounted it yet. :deadbanana:

Can some chart watcher tell me how many weeks HUMBLE. has been top 5/10?

Despacito will reach like 14 or 15 weeks but for some reason 16 is like impossible to get!

I don't see WT reaching #1 so I wonder what the next #1 will be

Wild Thoughts has a shot at #1 if Pop radio gives it full support imo. Despacito is dropping on everything or has peaked on everything except HAC. While Wild Thoughts is still gaining on every format it's charting.

Im so happy for Shawn! I hope his next lead single is killer and he gets his first top 3 :duca:

It's still gaining only on radio, sales fell by 6% and streaming fell by 13%.

Sales drops:

despacito -3%

wild thoughts -13%

Streaming drops:

despacito -2%

wild thoughts -6%

Interesting.

Shawn Mendes is so consistent. 3 Top 10's, 2 Top 20's and another Top 30. Everything but one early single has been a hit and at such a young age at that!

I wonder where "Attention" is. That should be Top 10 next!

Will wild thoughts dethrone that **** song?

Wild Thoughts won't go number #1 anytime soon :ace: "Despacito" already has the 11th week on lock, so 5 more weeks to go.

I was talking stricking about airplay/radio formats. Not the sales and streaming metrics.

I think Attention is aiming for the top 10 in the next few weeks. As long as it's AirPlay is consitent and they keep the discount on iTunes it should get it no problem.

Wild Thoughts is Rihanna's second blocked (#2 song) right?

Pon de Replay (#2)

Rihanna also had three #3 songs:

Don't Stop the Music (#3)

Stay (#3)

This Is What You Came For (#3)

To think she could've came so close to Mariah's record at this point. :frown:

I wish, but still needs a long way to go, I can only see an advantage on Airplay, WT should do better on both sales and streaming if it wants to dethrone such a massive smash like "Despacito".

People who have saved Mariah's record in the last 10 years (dethroning songs with 12+ weeks atop):

Black Eyed Peas (I Gotta Feeling, 2009) - dethroned Boom Boom Pow

Jay Sean/Lil Wayne (Down, 2009) - dethroned I Gotta Feeling

Katy Perry (Roar, 2013) - dethroned Blurred Lines

Wiz Khalifa/Charlie Puth (See You Again, 2015) - dethroned Uptown Funk

OMI (Cheerleader, 2015) - dethroned See You Again

Rae Sremmurd/Gucci Mane (Black Beatles, 2016) - dethroned Closer

Kendrick Lamar (Humble, 2017) - dethroned Shape of You

the common denominator seems to be males and/or rappers. :gaycat5:

and Katheryn :gaycat1:

also, 306 point difference between Despacito and WT :rip: That's like the amount of points Cheap Thrills had at #1 last year... guess Despacito is really falling very despacito.

Rihanna could have 15-16 #1's by now if she actually cared. :cries: She won't break Mariah's record if she continues to do nothing about it.

This Is What You Came For went #3 and could've went #1 with a discount. :rip:
