IMO Barbie Dreams video will only work if she can get cameos from everyone discussed, Karreuche, Drake, Meek, 50 Cent etc. If so it can be a really fun video. Or maybe a parody type of video with look-a-likes.

No one is denying the impact of playlists  it’s just that playlist push or not, this is underperforming/underwhelming

Playlists are the most important thing on Spotify, especially Today's Top Hits. Spotify has done nothing to help Nicki the way they did Drake and Travis. Queen was listed like 8th under new releases, Spotify didn't tweet about the album being available, she has no song on TTH, and she got no banners  

 

But yes Queen's numbers are underwhelming, I was hoping it would be bigger since I'm a fan  oh well, let the dragging commence, can't wait for the HDD thread

Maybe stop using Drake as a comparison? Drake was doing huge numbers on Spotify as far back as 2015 before ATRL knew to whine about playlists.  The problem is you guys somehow thinking any amount of playlists will help an artist who isn't strong on streaming to do huge numbers. It's like thinking putting out physicals in all the stores sets you up to do Adele sales. You guys see hip hop artists thriving and lament everytime a pop girl flops on it like the trends and patterns aren't there. Nicki isn't doing great on AM either (esp compared to Cardi) and her banner is front and center. Is that also the fault of playlists?
