Could still go higher, I remember it was 2 days before GP broke the record.

True, but again, he has massive NMF when Drake didn't, I think he will climb yes but won't break Drake's one.

hm i'm not sure bazzi is a total "plant" :skull: bazzi is an indie artist, and a lot of indie artists get deals with major labels so they can get their music out there (case in point: bazzi striking a deal with atlantic to get his song on the radio). atlantic is known for quickly signing upcoming artists, like zay hilfigerrr and zayion mccall when 'juju on that beat' happened

bazzi has been around since vine. it just turns out that his big break happened as soon as one of his more recent songs became a twitter meme, which resulted in the song becoming more popular. you can thank apple music for being the final push

Once you sign any deals with a major label, you're no longer indie. Major labels have been using the "Indie card" to push some of their artists. Atlantic did the same with 21 Pilots :rip:

OT: congratulations Post. Huge numbers for him. More than I expected :clap3:

The ridiculously high and unrealistic standards for Post Malone :deadbanana2:

2.9M is insane.

You are all so used to Drake numbers that you think anything under 3M is a flop :rip:

The first day a song is released is usually the lowest of the weekend. He still did 2.9 million

If Psycho is anything like rockstar the 1st day will be his lowest. God's Plan's debut was lower than Psycho's is (granted I don't know if Drake had NMF).

rockstar's 1st day: 1,551,995

God's Plan's 1st day: 2,487,513

Not to mention that Psycho has already gotten more streams in a single day than rockstar.

rockstar: 2,905,678

Psycho: 2,913,402

In short, awesome debut for Posty. :clap3:

I'm not sure why people expect him to already be bigger than Drake.

Oh wow, i cant even imagine what the first week streams for the album will look like.. 100% a new record, probably every single song in the top 20 and multiple songs over 2M etc :jonny5:

It should be coming soon as well. I believe that he's doing tour bundles and the 1st date of the tour is April 26th. In theory it'll come out between now and then.
