I really think it's this week...

The Boogie numbers are too low for last week. They wouldn't have been this high on the Hot 100 with those numbers

They just didn't include the Mi Gente remix and the Boogie songs last week. Or made the % change based on 2 weeks ago or something

 

 

Edit: Ugh. Yeah the % changes are really based on the numbers from 2 weeks ago... Why do Youtube, Spotify and HDD all mess up their stuff at the same damn time

They're really a pain to track. Any time the #'s come in on time for an extended period of time, I always start to think we're due for a lag soon.

 

What I can't help but wonder, as well, is if BB will actually be using the correct #'s in the chart or something that's misreported. Most of the time, they definitely seem to get it right, but there are these occasional streaming anomalies where I'm just completely confused as to where the streaming # came from.

 

Random, but I was following the song so closely at the time... one of the biggest question marks for me ever was when Lean On stalled at 17 before leaping up to 9 the next week. The streams they reported for that week it was at 17 just didn't add up. It had more streams from Spotify alone it seemed. And then it almost seemed like they credited those missed streams to it the following week.

Billboard absolutely used wrong numbers before. Leon On 100% had wrong streaming numbers for multiple weeks

 

Edit: And no they never added those missing streams. Just the week it was at #9 was with the correct numbers

Ah, well there you go. That kind of chart inconsistency just bugs me. Even if it's far and few between.

 

People always gripe at BB for random things, usually for their formula. But my one big annoyance with them is just how sloppy they are with their main chart. Not just with misreported info (which isn't always their fault anyway), but the constant typos and mathematical errors in the articles. I think it's gotten a little better recently, but maybe I just haven't been paying as much attention.
