If im not wrong ME has been the most streamed female album on spotify for 3 years now, outstreaming new releases despite spotify streams increasing a lot DW also has +2B streams and thats without even counting focus Simm said that Adele in streaming is a hit or a miss, which is true because some of her singles are massive there and some arent at all, like WUTB or WWWY. Complaining about the songs not going to streaming because Adele didnt want to doesnt make so much sense either. I could say that 1989 would have been the albums with more streams by a female in spotify if it was in spotify and it may be true but we would never know so... Ariana may be bigger than Adele on Spotify because the latter didn't bother to put her albums available there till they were almost done promoted. 21 wasn't up there until two years after it was released, if I'm not mistaken. Grande relies more on streaming services because that's where her points come from, she doesn't really sell albums. And for singles like Water Under the Bridge, which didn't get promo, its numbers are great. When We Were Young was done so wrong by Adele, no wonder it underperformed. Grim Posted October 5, 2017 Posted October 5, 2017 I’m kinda not surprised Taylor is doing mediocre on Spotify. However, you can’t help but think a large part of it has to do with Look not exploding in the same vein as SIO. The next single should be the determining factor.

SilverSky Posted October 6, 2017 Posted October 6, 2017 "doesn't engage in petty fights to get controversy or headlines to sell her material. " why not just agree that look has done the job that SHE wanted it to do. Give her a #1 hit all around. No matter where its placement is now, it was a #1 streaming hit. IMO, her feuds were not petty. She was on tour and felt employees were being taken away from her. She was speaking on the phone to a person claiming to be a friend and ended up being recorded without her knowledge and that was released to the internet. I think Adele would also stand up for herself if those things happened to her and she was constantly called snake (the name kim gave her) and mean girl (name katy gave her) because of it. Clearly she was hurt enough by those things that she felt the need to respond. Diss tracks have not done well lately. From famous to swish swish the only two that saw any type of success were bad blood and lwymmd. IMO, she never made either of those tracks to serve longevity but to pad her personal numbers to make those she's feuding with peeved. I am sure she would have been far more hurt had swish swish and famous done as well as bb or lwymmd. I think she is quite satisfied.
