The majority of the US Spotify charts consists of rap and yet the only rappers I'm seeing top 10 WW are both white. Bank Account went #1 on US Spotify but didn't crack top 20 WW. We can also look at Bodak Yellow, which hasn't cracked the top 20 WW. Travis Scott is a fairly big figure in the US and both of his recent singles have done great in the US (Goosebumps specifically has had major longevity). Neither cracked top 30 WW. Bad and Boujee barely cracked the top 10 WW for ****s sake. The list goes on. My point stands. No, I am saying that this is the first song of his to crack the top 20 despite having a #14 peaking 4x plat and #8 peaking 5x plat single. It's more of hip hop being way bigger in US than any other country. Country is worse and they are white artists

Cz!
"rockstar" is smashing ww because it has an actual melody. B&B does not. Same for BA. "cocaine on the table, liquor pouring, don't give a damn - dude your girlfriend is a groupie, she just trying to get innnn - saying 'I'm with the bannnnd' ay ay" is pop perfection. wish
Travis Scott is easily one of the most melodic rappers and has never cracked the top 30 on WW Spotify. Like, just accept the simple fact. It's clear as day. A very select few black "urban" artists are able to cross over to international markets. I'm not even discrediting the song or Post Malone cause it's a bop and it hits all the marks of a 2017 smash.

He's good but his vocal effect is not universally loved whereas Post Malone tries to make his voice sound like he is using the least amount of autotune as necessary and Post Malone can actually sing Edited September 21, 2017 by B-Rabbit

TOASTY
I have a quick question that I hope I articulate properly. When concerning streaming conversions to album sales, is it safe to say that an album with a higher track count has a better chance of outcharting an album with fewer tracks when concerning SPS figures? for example, next week Miley and Demi are releasing albums. Will Demi have a greater chance of bringing in more streams as she has more tracks on her album? Or are these are relative/trivial things and their fan bases usually drive majority of sales/streams? As a general rule, yes. Albums with more songs get higher streaming numbers, but Meek Mill will still far outstream Demi even with fewer tracks. Having more tracks is an advantage, but not a big one. brianc33710
Hunt's Back Road should easily be the first Country song to reach 150 M US streams. 150 M is important, as that means Hunt earns an extra certification level based on Spotify ODS alone. With AM and other ODS websites, Hunt is likely already at/over 150 M ODS anyway.

So laughing at her maintaining at #2 on iTunes, T10 on Spotify, etc. after a month while the other girls weren’t performing as well at the same time (in general really) is what is disrespectful LOL. edit: And that was post was clearly directed at the US where, according to Kworb, Chained was almost out of the T40 in its 4th week, so.
