LP was one of Rock's strongest streamers (and downloads of songs), so I expected to see more on Spotify this morning. I assume more songs will debut and/or make big moves on tomorrow's chart.

Probably by the end of this decade or early next decade, even without the large boost of streams it'll get in the next few weeks. I think all the pre-Youtube songs which have 300,000,000+ views will get to 1 billion relatively soon (and there's a surprising amount of them). Because remember that Youtube's usage is growing fast, and these songs are songs that are consistently popular, so their views will likely accelerate along with Youtube's growth, not slow down like the views of recent hits do. Numb, for example, seems to get about 600,000 views each day normally. So in just 100 days that's 60 million streams... It will get to 1 billion easily! Edited July 21, 2017 by Tsuko

With Chester's death, people will rush to YouTube and watch Linkin Park's videos way more than they usually do. Everyone was talking about him today at work, it is impressive the way people remember their music.

brianc33710 Posted July 22, 2017 Posted July 22, 2017 Since LP was one of the few Rock artists that streamed well, I really thought ITE would've reached much higher, and that at least one or two more songs would've placed in the Top 50.
