Yeah, this is a terrible first day for her. But one could see it coming with the performances of BA and Swish Swish and how quickly CTTR tumbled down the chart.

this is why its so vital to have a hit before album release day, to save you from numbers like this.  

I mean, Halsey's numbers weren't all that but she had Now or Never which got a decent boost from the album..

SZA is #1. Her album came out yesterday. Urban dominates Apple Music but big names have been able to snatch the top spot or at least top3.

 

And for the songs, she should've had more than Swish Swish. Harry Styles had basically all his album tracks charting in the "non urban top20"

Yeah comparing new music to 3 year old music makes a lot of sense. Which makes it so strange that the 3 year old 1989 is doing better on Spotify than the 1 day old Witness. 

 

But interesting that you have accepted that Taylor is way bigger than Katy and just want to compare her to Ed.
