Starkboy Posted May 16, 2017 Posted May 16, 2017 All videos decrease on Sundays. It's still over 1M on the 3rd day, over 33M (WW) so far. It's actually doing great, unlike the song.

Black Umbrella Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 So how much does streaming counts towords songs and SPS now? And does Spotify streams counts the same as Youtube views and as other streaming platforms?

And does Spotify streams counts the same as Youtube views and as other streaming platforms? For albums, 1,500 on-demand streams = 1 unit (1 sale is equal to 1 unit). Streaming is the most important metric on the Hot 100. It holds roughly 50-55% of the influence on the chart. Also, 150 streams = 1 song project unit (1 sale, again, equals 1 unit). Songs receive certifications based on the amount of song project units they have– i.e. a song is eligible to be certified Platinum when it reaches 1 million song project units. Yes, all streams are created equal for H100 purposes.

Starkboy Posted May 18, 2017 Posted May 18, 2017 Now that Spotify includes videos, streaming a video isn't included in the song streams, is it?
iHype. Posted May 19, 2017 Posted May 19, 2017 Take Care has been averaging 10 million streams each week in US throughout 2017. Put into perspective: 10 million streams X 52 weeks = 520 mil streams a year / 1500 = 347K SEA 347K SEA * 3 years = 1,041,000 SEA. Take Care could reach another Platinum certification every 3 years if the streams stay afloat (currently 4x Platinum). The streams are actually staying more than afloat, they're growing. In January 2016 it only got 7-8 million streams per week. Streaming is gonna be bringing back serious units for catalog albums. No album over 5+ years old is selling 350K in a year these days unless the artist died.

Nope that was a question pretty sure it's not counted. I wonder if Spotify will start counting video streams tho anyway with how TTH playlist changed, you can't list them based on name, length, time they were added etc. I may be wrong but I think that is even a bigger advantage for songs that are in the first positions. Look at today's update: TTH: 1 Bad LiarSelena Gomez 2017-05-18 BPM 121 Key C# 2 Despacito - RemixJustin Bieber, Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi 2017-04-28 BPM 88 Key D 3 ThunderImagine Dragons 2017-05-05 BPM 168 Key C 4 I'm the OneJustin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, Quavo, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled 2017-04-28 BPM 81 Key G 5 AttentionCharlie Puth 2017-04-28 BPM 100 Key D# 6 There's Nothing Holdin' Me BackShawn Mendes 2017-04-28 BPM 122 Key D 7 Quit (feat.
