Feanor Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) They are the two most prominent female stadium acts, with probably the most stadium shows ever performed. To see either of them live means you'll have to do it in a stadium setting with 40k, 50k or 60k+ other people and they have both mastered the "tourcraft" at stadium-sized venues. But do you think we will ever see Beyoncé or Taylor Swift bypass the obvious benefits of stadium tours (fewer shows for more gross & tickets) and do another arena tour or even theater tour? glitch Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago I could see one of them doing an arena residency, like 10 dates at the London O2 arena or something similar, but not a complete arena tour
Donquizote Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) Beyonce yes since her stadium tour always has certain dates with arena number. Taylor maybe no since the demand has always been huge Edited 14 hours ago by Donquizote 4 1 1 12
l3disko Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago No. I would love to see Taylor do arenas for a more intimate experience, but that's likely never doing to happen due to her insane demand. Beyoncé will keep doing stadium tours, even if her audiences are arena sized. 13 2
skeeyee Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) I could see Beyoncé doing it once she's older and more of a legacy act. Especially if she cuts the dancing down to a minimum. I could see her doing 1 tour with small venues as a gift to the fans Edited 15 hours ago by skeeyee 2 1
enchanted0 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago No Taylor fans in the US absolutely lost it trying to get tickets when the first batch of the Eras Tour went on sale. Just imagine the madness if she ever does a theater or arena tour nope I used to think she might eventually do theater shows like Madonna did but now I really don't see that happening. 1
gab00 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Taylor gets the benefit of doubt and even so, artists come and go, she will eventually age and so will her fans, and she'll have to recalibrate. Nothing wrong about it As for beyonce? Yeah, she is 100% going back to arenas eventually.
Tusk Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Yes. Example of a huge touring force doing theaters: Madonna 2
Chartman Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago How do both want to manage their careers when they are 60 years old? Maybe a residency, than a return to an arena.

Jay07 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I would love to see the "arena tour" with 45k attendance per date but still amusing to see the usual rush in on the first few posts yet still struggle to string a sentence together. I don't know about Beyoncé, possibly as an artistic choice. I know a Sphere residency was possibly discussed but fell through so we shall see. 4
WSalgado Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Yes, when they are older probably. Stadium shows demand so much in terms of stage presence, it is natural that it will become more burdensome to them as they age, no need to be defensive about it 1
penguintim Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Yes, Taylor will have to downgrade to arenas after her backlash era bought on by Justin Baldoni/Blake Lively/Brittany Mahomes/Matty Healy/her private jet/the webstore variants/Charli XCX/Olivia Rodrigo/Brendon Urie/Kanye West/Cats (2019)/Her tweeting about International Women's Day in 2017 but not marching/Charlie Puth/The horse she hit with her car/Her discounting LWYMMD on iTunes to try and beat Cardi B for #1/etc etc 3
skeeyee Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Got downvoted for answering the topic of the thread with my opinion 2
Popboi. Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago (edited) Neither before the mid 2030s at the earliest Bey may have had lower than expected attendance but $10m per date is bigger than any female outside Taylor she can book what she wants. Edited 14 hours ago by Popboi. 1
Fresh Out The Slammer Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Probably not for years tbh. However, I'd love for Taylor to do a small intimate tour of like only the vault tracks after she wraps up the TVs. Where she talks about why each song was left off said album and little insights into them.
JonginBey Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago No. I would love to see Beyoncé do arenas for a more intimate experience, but that's likely never doing to happen due to her insane demand. Taylor will keep doing stadium tours, even if her numbers are questionable. 1 2
