Y'all are rude as hell on here and get offended when an artist isn't the most gracious and pleasant at all times. She was obviously in a time crunch, the Met Gala carpet is a god damn frenzy and extremely stressful, and she needed more umbrellas so they can get moving. She acted like how anyone would if they're frustrated/overwhelmed. Not a big deal lol. These people are human beings and aren't at 100% polished PR behavior all the time. I don't wanna hear no f*cking excuses or justification for this behaviour. If a superstar like Gaga can keep her cool with multiple outfit changes and navigate the most stressful of red carpets with grace then this bih has no excuse. She's got a nasty spirit is what it is lets bfr. 6 1 1
mxoonlight Posted May 7 Posted May 7 people are so quick to give more compassion to celebrities who would just as quickly treat you like this than each other and i think that's why we're where we're at right now 7

Jay07 Posted May 7 Posted May 7 (edited) There's more clips and honestly, she just seems like a nightmare to deal with A sentient box topped with 5 umbrellas cussing at her team is way worse than revealing your outfit 5 minutes early. Edited May 7 by Jay07 1 1
CroNich Posted May 7 Posted May 7 This really isn't as big of a deal as some of yall are making it. Anything to hate on a successful black woman I guess. 1 2 2
Triton Posted May 8 Posted May 8 This is why the met gala is such a joke now. People try to make such a spectacle and it's just a fundraising gala. Like who cares when the outfit is "revealed", just go… have your picture taken and move on. Enjoy the exhibit. 3
Sexyzinger Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I hope this blows over for her because Doechii is insanely talented. But she also should learn from this and try not to snap at her team when she's under stress…learn there will always be someone around you with an iPhone filming any absentminded slip-up 1
Cain Posted May 8 Posted May 8 It's mainly funny because the outfit didn't warrant all that she was stressed someone might get a peak at her… shorts? Anyway the clip isn't that bad but if anyone in my office snapped like that they would definitely have a conversation with HR. It's never okay to yell at work or at workers so I don't mind her getting critiqued for that 3
TheCheshireCat Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I'm curious why her team didnt just go with a really big coat or something, like how did the A and B listers arrive that night? Lets not forget Miley had a similar outburst way back at the VMA's when they didnt do her red carpet entrance properly and she threw a little tantrum, and Miley is not known for being mean to her staff so I can imagine the pressure of these red carpet moments must be insane.
SpaceOddity Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Bunch of people spreading fatphobia, misogyny, femphobia 24/7 on this forum suddenly want to preach about kindness lol. 1
makeme Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I mean in her defense everyone on her team gasped and started blocking her. All of them were acting hectic and probably fueled her "Omg they can't see me" mentality. It's really not that serious. She even joked about it and thanked her team.

IBeMe Posted May 9 Posted May 9 so this wasnt that bad overall BUT in real life even talking to a co worker or an employee like that would not be accepted. We need to stop acting like artists live in a separate society from all of us and that they are superior to us. At the end of the day they are glamorized street performers. Without our good will and cash they literally cant exist. I think it's time they understand that and humble themselves a little. This applies to nearly ALL artists out there who while they jester to being "real / normal" almost always cross lines that REAL and NORMAL ppl don't, won't or can't. They too shouldnt be able to. 3
JustHoran Posted May 9 Posted May 9 These new girls are so unlikable. Good luck to them lasting with terrible attitudes, they are going to need all the luck. 3

Yeah this is the takeaway. It's not fair to judge someone by a bad moment but at the same time, snapping, screaming and cussing your coworkers out would NOT be accepted in the real world. Which is why that person saying "have you ever had a job" sounds so weird. Um, have you? I hope Doechii will learn to handle stress better moving forward, she's very talented. 1
LegaMyth Posted May 9 Posted May 9 This is a hot mess. No need to try and make up excuses. Hopefully she will learn from it.
