That said, screaming NOW and not even adding a 'please' is diabolical. It's those poor assistants scurrying around in a panic trying to find umbrellas and the big reveal was this? It's giving delusional.
HausOfPunk Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Doing all of these theatrics and then revealing to a super basic look would have been perfect for the year they did the Camp theme. 7
NoOneDiesFromLove Posted May 6 Posted May 6 What an unfortunate attitude especially yelling at them for more umbrellas Love the paparazzi that said "you look amazing" at the wall of umbrellas lmao 3
Chemist Posted May 6 Posted May 6 She slayed all the Paris Fashion week looks but decided to go for the most uninspired look for the MET gala 1 1
dumbsparce Posted May 6 Posted May 6 I like that she's opinionated and involved even in the image crafting aspect of her career. This is her breakthrough era and there's no room for sloppiness and she knows it. I love seeing the passion. I just wonder how they got on the venue so unprepared in the first place.
Phaunzie Posted May 6 Posted May 6 The fact that people were calling that look, the best of the night when other girls and boys were serving harder and looking better than whatever she was having a tantrum over. I am sry, I personally found the afro distracting because not only did it look unnatural on her head (the hair looked like a wig and not growing from her scalp), but the hair also needed a small hat at least. The bottom should have the logomania of the top and the shoes were the best part. I will be honest, Andre3000 had a way better look in my opinion. 1
LatinFreak Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Rolling my eyes soo hard at this chick. Bish, u wearing SHORTS to a Gala. Chill the F out.
BYoncé Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Y'all cannot be serious, we are right back to the early 2010s where black women online get dogpiled for the most innocuous thing. She was yelling out loud, in a stressful situation. She wasn't in some assistants face berating them until they cried. All of the people in this thread need to open their eyes to the bullshit they're participating in for a kii. 2 1 3
PartyFavor Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Something is really not sitting right with me about how y'all are talking about this situation… Tina Knowles just talked about how Beyonce can get mean to crew backstage. These are high stress situations and many people across many different industries (non-celebs too) have these moments. It doesn't make them bad people. The internet is always looking for reasons to cancel or hate people nowadays. Its really alarming. 1
UnusualBoy Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Putting aside the yelling, the outfit ain't even all that, looks dumb, especially when we know she can pull insane looks, she's done it before.
l3disko Posted May 6 Posted May 6 In her defense she prob wasn't expecting there to be an army of cameramen waiting for her in the lobby and was probably frustrated at her look being revealed earlier than she wanted it to be. Her anger seems to be directed at the cameramen and the thought of them getting pictures of her from above the screen. the assistants probably could've done a better job preparing for such a situation. The look was garbage though.

The funny thing about it all is that the miserables are in here saying "she did all this for THAT outfit?" as if yelling at people isn't even the problem for them, just their ignorant sense of fashion. These people don't even care about the assistants, they just want to drag Doechii, so they're picking apart the behavior (which is.. very expected in Hollywood? We see this with every single artist in history pretty much) and her outfit, because this is not about concern for people's working environment at all. It is just to drag another Black woman as it usually is.
Acuminatus Posted May 6 Posted May 6 She wasn't the nicest for sure, but this isn't that bad? I guess this is due to the backlash from Anxiety being spammed everywhere. The outfit though
BadHabits Posted May 6 Posted May 6 She's probably nervous, but I would apologise if I was her. Let people know that you were wrong to have spoken to them like that and getting them some flowers or a small present will really show the people she worked with that they matter, don't deserve to be treated like that and you were wrong for doing so. It really does go a long way. 1

Kayseri Mantisi Posted May 6 Posted May 6 (edited) what is this behavior i thought people were exaggerating but then i watched the videos you're literally just Doechii, Ms. Anxiety, no one would give a **** if an umbrella slipped and they saw your dress early Edited May 6 by Kayseri Mantisi 1 2
TaylorNation Posted May 6 Posted May 6 her assistants trying to hide her in the elevator when the doors open SENT me 3

Edonis Posted May 6 Posted May 6 love her but you don't get far in the industry talking to your team like that 6
