Delusional Posted yesterday at 03:26 AM Posted yesterday at 03:26 AM Have you ever seen the light about a song and realised it's bad after it flopped? I'll start: Lottery - Latto
Achilles. Posted yesterday at 03:39 AM Posted yesterday at 03:39 AM (edited) I stan plenty of artists, songs, albums, films that attain no success whatsoever, so flopping rarely impacts my opinion of something. However, I definitely have the opposite problem: post smash clarity. I encounter a piece of media and I think "oh this is fine," "I wouldn't change the station," "decent film," etc and then it becomes an inescapable monster smash or sweeps the Emmys or whatever and I think, "oh, this is actually egregiously overplayed / overrated and my opinion of it is rapidly diminishing." Many such cases. Edited yesterday at 03:47 AM by Achilles. 10
AMIT Posted yesterday at 04:14 AM Posted yesterday at 04:14 AM Camila Cabello - I Luv It Spoiler I still believe (even though it didn't really flop) that My Oh My should have been a Havana/Señorita sized smash and I will die on that hill idc 1
Popular Post dzwiekolubny Posted yesterday at 06:24 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 06:24 AM imagine stop enjoying the song that you liked because it flopped 6 2 21
superben Posted yesterday at 07:21 AM Posted yesterday at 07:21 AM It's more of the other way around. You like a song, then it becomes a hit and gets overplayed, and it starts to feel annoying instead of enjoyable. 1
Dolce Vita Posted yesterday at 08:38 AM Posted yesterday at 08:38 AM no but i had this thing where i was scared to listen to flop artists for a while, it was a superstitious thing. like i was scared to accidentally stream ciara for the longest time in case it made me flop too 4

skeeyee Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago So you only liked the song at first because you thought it would smash? No, I don't base my song likes on success
