sweetblindness Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 I cannot for the life of me imagine how this movie will look. Is it entirely live action? Is it a blend of CGI and live action? Either way, it seems impossible to do without looking incredibly dated or goofy.
elevate Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 The Mario movie is bad and it's smashing. This will sell off brand name alone and they know it.
NoOneDiesFromLove Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Ngl I’ve been waiting for this movie since 2016 when they first announced it but knowing it’s gonna be live action has me worried

Future Lover Posted April 4 Posted April 4 FRIDAY MIDDAY UPDATE: Mr. Zaslav, I'd like to direct your attention over to the motion picture executive suite where co-chiefs Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy have an absolute, jaw-dropping hit on their hands in Legendary's A Minecraft Movie. Let the record show. Today is $50M alone, and that includes last night's near-$11M in previews. The weekend is well north of $100M at 4,263 theaters, with some rivals seeing $130M+. It's clearly the biggest opening YTD on a 3-day basis ahead of Captain America: Brave New World's $88.8M. That also means it will be the biggest weekend of 2025 YTD for all movies, outstripping the $154M sum from February 14-16. https://deadline.com/2025/04/box-office-a-minecraft-movie-1236359247/ I was not even aware this movie was a thing that existed 1
Popular Post Brikenbur Posted April 4 Popular Post Posted April 4 Had no idea this movie was even out, but I guess that's what happens when you're 57-year old ATRLer like me! 16
piotrert Posted April 4 Posted April 4 not surprising, minecraft is biggest game in history. but from the clips i saw it genuinely looks terrible. guess it's not problem for kids 2
