glitch Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago (edited) Quote Evil pop is when you're singing something in your head like "Uh Oh" or "Ooo" and you don't know why because it's brainless I can't help but think this applies to many songs in Anne-Marie's discography with lyrics like "Oh no look who guessed your password right", "You can kiss my uh oh", "Do I have a job? I don't know" amongst others. Mindless drivel made supposedly for mass consumption but I'm not sure anyone is listening anymore. Edited 21 hours ago by glitch
Katamari Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago her lyrics are really bad considering there are multiple people in the kitchen coming up with them

LOTF Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I'm not at all familiar with Anne Marie but Taylor was talking out of her ass 2 1
Rabbit Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Jack AntonOFF is such a pretentious elitist HACK The bridge from a fun song that took me 2 seconds to find: Oh-oh-whoa, oh-oh-oh-whoa Oh, oh, oh-whoa-oh, oh-whoa-oh Oh-whoa, oh-oh-oh-whoa Oh, oh, oh-whoa-oh, oh-whoa-oh

Sweeftie13 Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago I agree with Taylor. There are artists who have made vocalizations and stuttering a very successful and effective stylistic choice like Lady Gaga (if we think about Poker Face or Bad Romance or Judas it is full of these "ooh ooh" vocalizations but they are well placed, they have a meaning and above all they are part of the work artistically speaking) or even other great artists I think of Bey, Ariana, Billie and even Kesha: all of them have written amazing songs using this technique. But there was a trend in 2014-2019 where the use of vocalizations and stuttering was used as "filler" in the structure of the text, just a way to write a melodically catchy song without having to commit to a well-structured text (try to imagine how hard it is to adapt a text to a reduced melodic sequence and make it sound original)
NewStanner Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago This cover art alone is an evil incarnate to my eyes 1
Appletree Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I have a strong feeling you stan ha & your secretly trying to promote her new single Sneaky babe
