Phaunzie Posted yesterday at 05:24 AM Posted yesterday at 05:24 AM Xtina, the original., plus her party looks cooler 1
jezebelvictoria Posted yesterday at 06:09 AM Posted yesterday at 06:09 AM Christina's came off more natural while Miley's seemed really forced and cringe BUT I did still very much love quite a few songs from the 'Bangerz' era and wasn't a hater of the era though my critique may sound like it. I still enjoyed it. Also, 'Stripped' was just an incredible body of work. I LOVED that album both musically and visually when it came out. The aesthetic of that album's artwork was top notch. I was a CD collector back then and remember it being one of the best. Still one of the best album covers to this day.
ChooseyLover Posted yesterday at 06:13 AM Posted yesterday at 06:13 AM (edited) I find Xtina more authentic in all her iterations. Xtina is still the same woman who created Stripped. Edited yesterday at 06:15 AM by ChooseyLover 1
allforyou Posted yesterday at 07:15 AM Posted yesterday at 07:15 AM Stripped is way better than Bangerz. I would go to Miley's party though, I always found it kinda gross how everyone in the Dirrty music video looked all sweaty and musty. 1
Madam X Posted yesterday at 09:13 AM Posted yesterday at 09:13 AM (edited) Xtina obviously. Miley copies everything from what was already done before - including copying Xtina's entire Stripped era. Now she's being sued for copying Bruno Mars. There is no comparison between the two. Edited yesterday at 09:21 AM by Madam X 1 2
Darius Posted yesterday at 11:00 AM Posted yesterday at 11:00 AM Stripped is an incredible album and Xtina's reinvention came across as more of a natural evolution of who she was becoming as a person vs. a rebrand - even if it served that purpose too 1

I hate when people try to frame this like every other artist hasn't done the same thing, it's not just exclusive to Miley. Christina too.
honestopinion Posted yesterday at 12:42 PM Posted yesterday at 12:42 PM (edited) The absolute delusion in this thread from 40 year old lonely gays lmao. Miley is the real queen who keeps her evolution and makes different genres. Her bad girl era was authentic, she needed break free from Disney and people seeing her as a child, they were complaining she's growing up and didn't want to allow her to be herself Edited yesterday at 12:43 PM by honestopinion
SinnerCity Posted yesterday at 12:46 PM Posted yesterday at 12:46 PM Janet Jackson >>>> There wouldn't be a Stripped without Janet.

OrbitNumber1 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago 4 minutes ago, Josh said: the same queen who keeps trashing her past work? Miley is an ever-changing being. Fans know that she gets tired of doing only one thing, and that's the kind of artist she is. And it's people here are trying to force the narrative of her being "unauthentic" when she is probably the most authentic mainstream artists. Even before Bangerz, she was a party girl, but couldn't use that image because of Disney, in the Can't Be Tamed era she was outspoken about her dissatifaction. She released a an entire album on SOUNDCLOUD. Then, a country album following the hit Bangerz era was a career-wrecking move. She nearly destroyed her career multiple times by just doing what she wanted and then I come here and read a bunch of gays calling her image change a forced rebrand. If you guys can't just be yourselves, don't blame it on Miley.
Selegend Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Stripped is an AMAZING album. I loved Bangerz in 2013 but it's veryyyy not in the same level, Plastic Hearts would be more close to Stripped's quality. And i don't even f with xtina that much, but Stripped is so good. I remember i was so young so i discovered it like in 2010 and i was ADDICTED for months.
