It's so upsetting because Gaga CHOSE to do stadiums knowing she has a huge touring demand and needed to fill stadiums to ensure more fans can see her. She purposely made this tour limited and scarce. Honestly ruined the Mayhem era for me as I really wanted to see her live in a stadium!

In Europe despite legislation against it they still put up the "platinum tickets" which are regural tickets with dynamic pricing. And they seem to create an illusion of scarcity of regular tickets in order to pressure fans to buy those.

I wish tix were less expensive but I only go to shows I think are worth the price. Gaga is definitely one of those people. I can't wait to see her in Vegas!

dynamic pricing is illegal in france and the most expensive regular tickets i've ever paid were around 200€ gold circle (which is already very expensive for a concert) for both beyoncé and gaga. my bf paid 20€ more for the exact same tickets to see mayhem (in an arena) than i did to see CC at stade de france, make of that what you will. 

 

idk what platinum tickets are since i've never had to buy those and haven't been impacted by them so i don't really care about them 

 

anyway, ticketmaster's a scam and so are our favs. nobody's denying that

okay that makes sense because I just got Mayhem tickets for France and didn't come across any such thing as platinum tickets. There were some VIP very costly ones but I assume those aren't just regular.

When I tried for Amsterdam on the other hand.... platinum tickets was all there was.

yeah the vip packages are always super pricey but nothing compared to US prices (my renaissance one was like 330€) but at least i had early entry, a goody bag full of useless merch and i was lowkey front row despite arriving very late, so fully worth it (still very expensive obviously). i did see the mention of ticketmaster platinum on their site this year but assumed that was just another vip thing where you also get benefits

 

but it wouldn't surprise me at all if they found a loophole to scam more people through the platinum thing by forcing them to buy more expensive tickets without giving vip benefits  ticketmaster should just be burned down atp…

Platinum tickets are 100% that. But in the french system it was at least easier to avoid falling into that trap (if it exists over there as well).

yeah i think it does but they are separate so you have to actively seek them out and won't accidentally buy one of them instead of a regular one. i do hope they won't quietly change that in the future cause
