Hoping to get a ticket for Seattle today! I've been to Climate Pledge before, and it's a great arena with any seat being a nice view and good sound. I'd happily pay more to see Gaga in this venue than a shitty stadium (unless I was blessed again to be 5th row at the center diamond ala eras tour).

The ticket prices for ALL artists are a joke. Beyonce and GaGa both charging £400 for a ******* seat, not even front row, is madness lmao. All of them can choke. Even if I had the money I wouldnt pay. I'd rather stream from home, front row. And I'll buy better merch online. Its all become a joke. 2009 was the last time touring was incredible I fear.

I'm more mad at the lack of cities. Like we doing 5 shows in NYC alone but almost none in the west?

 

So on top of these insane prices, we get to factor in travel expenses making it not worth it.

This keeps happening with pretty much every artist. Billie recently toured here for her latest album and tickets were almost double the price of her previous tour which happened less than 2 years before. Is it the artists being greedy? Is it the venues? Or is the ticketing agencies? Genuinely curious because I have no idea how it works and its really getting out of hand...

Well well well, look what the cat drug in... again. B-b-b-but we thought the "billionaire" artists were just being greedy by setting dynamic pricing.

 

So, it's clear by now to see that this stuff is clearly above the artists, even the biggest ones y'all think have power over these fat cat conglomerates. Ticketmaster is a criminal monopoly and has been since before any of our modern faves had careers. Throw in the lovely added bonus of an inflated economy and you end up with this type of shitstorm. There is a massive anti-trust lawsuit that was just filed on May 23rd, 2025 by 29 states against Live Nation, the parent company of Ticketmaster. 

 

If people here really care to boycott Ticketmaster, they should either try to find other vendors to purchase concert tickets through or just stay home. That's how you hurt the pockets of everyone involved. 

 

It's a good thing concerts have never been bare necessities or we would all be really ****** lol.

I was in that thread saying concert aren't a right they are a luxury but YOU were in there calling the Cuff It singer all kinds of names and grandstanding... so i rightfully expect you to call the Mrs Pharma the exact same names and a greedy capitalist who is taking advantage of her dumb fans.

I really should've gone to the Born This Way Ball. Early 2010s was really kind of the best time ever. I saw big artists in the pit for like $150.

I looked there and she is charging 300 pound for lower level seats and 500 for floor seats.  UK shows are normally standing so putting seating was to scam every penny out of fans
