"absolute nobody in the UK" yet he had a sold out UK tour and plenty of his songs debut in the UK spotify top 50? plus, he has a #2 hit there lol as far as country acts go, he is actually quite big in the uk 3 2 1

He could never sellout stadiums in the UK. All of the singles from his new album TANKED here: #58 Lies Lies Lies #40 Love Somebody #52 Smile #44 I'm The Problem I don't have anything to cry about because he's so irrelevant in most of the world and easy to avoid The only time i ever hear about this racist is on here. At most he can score a cute gold album like Garth did back in the day or a top 10 album like Carrie but country music is just not big here and never will be, Dolly and Shania are the only exceptions. i love the moving goal posts as if selling out a paid concert in hyde park isn't a huge feat and something that is done mostly by A-listers lol not that it matters at the end of the day, the UK market represents like 5% of the profits a huge act can get in the US but why deny reality that he does have a major fanbase in the UK all things considered? lol 1 hour ago, Isaiah said: gay people fuming from their european village as if an american country artist cares about their consumption the funny thing is.... he does not give a **** about Europe, never promoted there and yet, he does get really decent numbers there? Like the random Brit being like "lol Hyde Park who cares?" and yet only A-listers headline Hyde Park concerts and its stadium-size capacity? and he's doing that with basically no effort. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Summer_Time_(concerts) Edited March 29 by Thesedays 1 5 1

Yet he's selling 500k first week... Like do units even matter at this point His next tour has 20 stadium shows On 3/28/2025 at 2:54 AM, Eternium said: This is incorrect. Remixes do count. For example, Billboard still counts the sale of digital albums with special acoustic tracks or what not to the parent album. Claiming TTPD:Anthology only had 31 tracks is disingenuous. Likewise, Morgan's albums end up getting extra Target tracks and acoustic versions and what-not to boost sales numbers. Bilboard counts TTPD as a 31 tracks album. No need for mental gymnastics 1

MusicLoverDude Posted March 29 Posted March 29 I hate to say it but his album bomb from this will be the only way to force a lot of these superrecurrent songs out (Lose Control, Beautiful Things, etc). 1

Yeah, I don't think 99.99% of Brazilians have ever heard of him and that would include myself if I didn't hear about him through ATRL

Like not even the biggest names in Country or Pop are doing it like this. Only Taylor and Beyoncé. Still sucks that his music is BAD, LMAOOO!!! Like how are you gonna be racist and have sh*t music at the same time??? Yeah, he's my least favorite Country star musically in some time, this is what we get after mistreating Sam Hunt I guess. Hopefully Zach Bryan links up with a megaproducer to give us the Country Pop bops of a lifetime to put us (me) out of my misery, cause I'm tired of Morgan clogging my date nights via how much they play his music in restaurants in the NJ-NY-PA area On 3/27/2025 at 5:17 PM, Katamari said: I remember seeing one of the dumbest posts ever in the rod wave thread This site talking global reach on us based charts always triggers me lowkey Same. A lot of Pop acts don't even have nationwide reach (streaming era side effect), this site does that with artists like Rod Wave not realizing there's a large portion of the country that also doesn't care about their Pop girls. They seem to think everyone here listens to Pop girls but only niches listen to Rappers and Country acts. 1

I know BB quoted him in his interview saying he refused to do any "official" Last Night remixes that could've helped spread its reach & extend its range. So he's reluctant to lose his Country audience. LN reached 15 AC, whereas LC is 22 so far. LC is more format friendly but isn't the consumption mammoth LN was. But Country stars grow after getting their foot in the door. Fast Car was very unusual given it was an 80s classic remake & AC stations play a ton of 80s already.
